NEWELL OPERATING CO DRAPERY HDWR A7004213265 Spring Tension Rod, 28 to 47-Inch

After checking local Levelor retailers for the Levelor Spring tension pocket rod and finding an empty slot on most of them I came to Amazon. I knew what was needed and the product was immediately available at a great savings including shipping costs. The rod arrived in perfect condition in original package within the week and was immediately placed in use in my mother's retirement apartment (no holes in the wall). The described item met our needs and I would refer others with hard to fit applications to the product and supplier.

What a piece of junk! Should have believed the review by JEAN M KING, 5/2513 , She give the curtain rod a rating of 2 Stars, I give it a 1 Star only because there is a "0" rating!The screw head will not hold the plastic bar that holds the spring in place, the folded metal on the sides are too narrow for the screw heads compress against metal flange as show in diagram, Fig.2. The plastic bar slips out of place, therefore, the tension rod is a worthless piece of metal that can not be used to hang a curtain!Again, my rating is a big fat "0". Pat Jimenez

Installation was a honor. Pieces did not fit (too small) was not able to use it as intended. Also, the packaging was quite old, which made you think that this item is not used much.

this was hard to use. VERY hard to put together the screw was a bit small for the hole to keep the tension on the rod so if you didn't get it adjust just so it was a fight. and the rubber ends will not stay on. guess you get what you pay for. should have opted for the $12 ones

works a little differently than "usual" spring tension rod. rubber feet keep falling off prior to install. but, once in place, works great.

This is a made in China piece of junk! The screws they give you are to short to short and they screw into a piece of plastic which doesn't have holes large enough to screw them into.

The ends will not stay in, the screws will not stay tight enough to hold the rod while you are trying to put it in the window. It took me 1 hour to put one rod into the window with the valance on. I had to take the valance off twice and tighten the screws that the instructions say to NOT over tighten then put the valance back on. The ends come off as you are trying to get it into the window. I assumed because these were made by Levelor they would be good. NOT! I do not recommend them.
