Oreck Fresh Air Vacuum Scent Tabs (24 Tabs)

This product works pretty darn well in the vacuum cleaner, upright or canister. This was an amazing deal that I just couldn't pass up! I bought these because my house would smell like wet dog every time I used the vacuum cleaner, regardless of the fact that I change the bags all the time. This completely eliminated the problem when I use the canister vac. The upright still smells up the house for 10-15 minutes while vacuuming, but this did help to weaken the odor. Not a perfect deodorizer, but it does help. If you don't have pets in the house, I am sure this would work beautifully for you. At this price, they are definitely worth a try. This isn't my favorite scent, but I tend to lean away from the smell of fresh linens, cotton, etc. However, once you finish your vacuuming, the scent isn't overpowering. I will purchase these again!

One of our cats seems to be somewhat smelly and his fur would make the exhaust from the vacuum stink up the whole house. I tried this product in desperation and it really helps with the odor while cleaning. The scent is not overbearing and the deodorizing properties appear to work. They do not last forever though in my case and another tablet must be used long before the bag is full.

downfall odor protection wears off really fast!!

I bought these a long time ago for my Oreck which has since died. So I thought maybe I could use them in a throwaway bag vac but that didn't actually work out very well. The scent is great. I threw a couple under my car seats but they don't throw off that much scent. They're perfect for Orecks.

I actually really like these more than I thought I would. I break a tablet in half, thrown one half in the new bag, crumble the other over an area of carpet and vacuum it up. It's not too perfumey, although it does diminish pretty quickly after the first couple vacuumings which works for me.

Description of item clearly states 24 tabs. When delivered there are only 12 tabs. Upon reviewing the return policy and contact information, it states returns cannot be made for this item. And I can't find any contact information......I was going to question if there should be 2 bags of 12 tabs instead of just 1 bag of 12. I am quite irritated as this doesn't live up to my expectations. My rating is based on the incorrect description and the price based on the description as opposed to what was delivered.

Easy to install. The only thing I didn't like was how far down they hung from the truck. I modified it by cutting off about an inch from the brackets. Brought it up higher and looks good.

Makes the room smell good while vacuuming each time. Super easy to use.
