64GB in Dell Precision 7510 for far less than from Dell
I purchased two of these kits for my Dell Precision 7510 laptop in order to increase the amount of RAM to 64GB. I work with a lot of virtual machines and having more memory allows me to have more complex environments with more machines running at once. It took a little bit of power cycling in order to get the laptop to properly boot once I increased the memory to 64GB, but after a few reboots and making sure I had the latest BIOS and other drives installed, it has been working flawlessly.Initially I installed all 64GB and it took a long time for the system to boot, this is because the default BIOS setting verifies the memory that is installed and detects when the amount of installed RAM changes. In some cases I think I was simply impatient because the "Thorough" boot sequence that gets triggered when the amount of RAM changes takes a LOT longer than the "Fast" boot that typically occurs. After booting with 64GB "failed" or I was too impatient, I booted with 32GB and it worked quite well. I then made sure I could get into Windows and that it saw all the memory, and then I installed the 64GB again and checked all the BIOS settings (once I was able to get into the BIOS). I made sure I had carefully and fully seated all the memory, and after a few more restarts I got the prompt that the 64GB was recognized and I saw it in the BIOS, so then I waited patiently while it booted until I got into Windows. This has been running great for weeks now in my laptop in both Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04.

Great DIY Linux Mini PC memory
Bought and installed two Crucial 16GB Single DDR4 2133 MT/s (PC4-17000) SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT16G4SFD8213 modules in a DIY Intel NUC Kit NUC6i5SYH BOXNUC6I5SYH Silver/Black , when twice the available discount price was cheaper than the single price of CRUCIAL TECHNOLOGY 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR4 2133 MT/s (CT2K16G4SFD8213) . Combined, 2 x 16GB = 32GB maxed out the supported memory in my Intel NUC, and "Dual channel (Interleaved) mode" supports twice the bandwidth with twin memory modules than "Single channel (Asymmetric) mode" with single or unequal memory modules. As expected, I have not experienced any problems with these memory modules to date.I am a pioneer in 3D computer graphics, and graphics is a memory intensive application, whereas text editing is not - in comparison. I am developing an atomic model that will support more and more data processing as the molecules increase in complexity. The alternative to physical memory is swap space on disk, but physical memory is considerably faster than HDD or even SSD speeds. Physical memory provides a superior performance to price ratio, if you are dealing with large data sets and/or computational complexity. 32GB may seem large, but for a 64bit processor 1 instruction of code = 8 bytes, 1 pixel = 4 bytes, and for a Western text file 1 character = 1 byte. 32GB = 4G instructions = 8G pixels = 32G Western characters. Depending on the applications you use or develop the optimum amount of memory for your own PC may vary.Parkinson's law of data: "Data expands to fill the space available for storage."

Works in ThinkPad T470s But WAIT for Laptop Delivery!!
This memory card (Crucial 16 GB DDR4 2,133 MHz) works perfectly in my new Lenovo ThinkPad T470s laptop, boosting the 8 GB it came with to 24 GB and saving me over $200 in comparison to what was being charged by Lenovo on their website when I was in the process of customizing my laptop for purchase. If you are considering purchasing this for a laptop you don't yet own, I caution you to wait for the laptop to arrive first! I had a bit of a scare because I ordered this memory card from Amazon immediately after ordering the laptop from Lenovo. Amazon delivered this memory card in less than 48 hours but Lenovo was delayed and I did not receive my laptop until 3 weeks later. This was scary because Amazon only allows returns within 30 days and had I gotten the wrong memory, I almost came close to not being able to return it.This memory card was easy to install. I just unscrewed five Philips head screws on the back of the laptop (disregarding the keyboard lock/unlock screw and being aware the screws don't drop out after loosened, there is a round thing holding each one to the lid). I then inserted the memory card into the extra slot until it snapped in place.

Highly Recommend. Amazon has Best Price.
This memory is very inexpensive compared to same memory from following:$300 - Dell$180 - Crucial$140 - AmazonCrucial gave me link to Amazon and said they Crucial honors lifetime warranty replacement regardless of where purchased.45 days full refund for return - Crucial30 days full refund for return - AmazonI watched YouTube on how to replace memory in my Dell XPS 15 9550.I then replaced memory in XPS within 5 mins.Didn't have to change anything in BIOS/CMOS.When system booted it displayed a screen saying memory size increased and waited for me to press ok.Other than that, system recognized it without any incidents or issues...I then tested memory using diagnostics in BIOS. Ran full suite of advance tests and it passed everything.I then performed numerous backups of various types which required numerous shutdowns and power ups and bios changes over 24hr period...The memory has worked flawless...I opened numerous screens and no issues...I'm going to open multiple guest operating systems using VMware 12... and see how it behaves...I'm very pleased with extra memory and quality of memory and glad I didn't encounter any issues.

This improved my computer's performance
My computer is considerably faster now that it went from 4 GB of RAM to 32 GB of RAM. This was to be expected, considering both sets of chips were rated to be of the same speed. Nevertheless, I was expecting some performance loss due to the overhead of handling more memory banks. This fortunately has not been the case. My computer's performance has only improved since I installed this RAM kit.
