This is a really good book. I was amazed when I read the reviews, most of them good, but some of them biased by lack of scientific knowledge and religious dogma. You can tell the book was written by someone with an advanced degree (Walter Semkiw is an M.D.), but the book is not pedantic in any fashion. I appreciated the review of work by Ian Stephenson, M.D. who passed in 2007. The book involves case studies of reincarnation evidence and I appreciated how systematic it was in laying out case evidence. The topic is not something you can do, I don't think, a double blind controlled study on. The book does not ask that the reader have "faith", but simply presents case evidence. Dr. Semkiw's summary of the role of reincarnation acceptance in Christianity, Judaism and Islam was spot on and consistent with my studies of the topic. The concept of reincarnation has been around a long time in various cultures all over the world. It has been a part of our major religions for a long time. Why the concept scares some people is beyond me. One of the most important ramifications of reincarnation is that if a person realized they have lived other lives involved in other religions, or in another race or gender, they might also realize that to hate another race or a member of another religion or gender is tantamount to hating yourself. I know it looks like there are billions of us here, but really there is only one of us here. To paraphrase a really famous guy: "whatsoever you do unto the least of these you do also unto to Me". Not only is this book caring and intelligent, it took guts for a professional to take the risk of writing it, but there are an increasing number of people willing to do this sort of work.Tom Allen, Ph.D.

Jam Packed
This is fascinating subject matter, and a lot more than I anticipated. A number of very compelling cases are included, but what I didn't expect was their inter-connectedness.

This is really a great read with some fascinating stories
This book is really a great read. If you are familiar with Semkiw's work, this book has much lengthier case studies than are on his websites, so the stories go deeper and are more fascinating. Even if you simply dip in and out of this book instead of reading it straight through on the first go-round, it's worth it for the interesting stories.Unlike his book 'The Return of the Revolutionaries', which had a standard publisher, this book was self-published and shows the unfortunate earmarks of bad layout and typeface, lack of index, and so on. Still, it's a good read so well worth it in spite of those issues.

Interesting and informing book
Some repeats of Dr. Iam Stevenson but other than that it is a really great book for study.

Mostly unbelievable.
Most of the cases in the book involve famous historical people reincarnated into people who are well known today. Each chapter ends with some photos or portraits of the pair, stating that they bear a remarkable resemblance to each other. The modern photos have the person with the same expression or in the same pose as their supposed previous incarnation. I really found the pictures having only a slight resemblance. Some of the stories are quite convincing, while others seem contrived. I can't believe I wasted a lot of time reading this book.

Born Again
On the whole , a good book, which unfortunately got a little tedious toward the end--which made some of it hard to believe. I don't know what to think about spirit guides. Although the author came to trust Te Ahtun, I found the whole thing to be wild. Also, why do spirit guides have strange names? I know it was their name, but frankly I'd find a spirit guide named, "Joe" or "Frank" or "Melissa" a tad more believable.I also was not impressed by Barbro Karlen. I thought she was a clever scammer. Most of the other people rang true though.

Profound
The facts was supported by real cases from India to Germany to America. The case of Anne clearly gives statement that, death is not the end. God gives her back her previous life memory in super detail, to give her justice she deserve.
