This magnifying glass, with 3 different lenses, is kind of fascinating to discover! However, the little, higher power lenses are so small that you need to be right on top of the lens to see the object.. It does magnify quite a bit on both, and has the ultra violet light, which I don't think I will use, but who knows? It has the rounded end to hold in the palm, I really don't prefer it but it is OK... just not flat to take up less room in the purse or pocket... But it's handy, good to have in the kitchen to read small letters on labels, pills, articles, etc... I bring it out, having it on the counter to readily use. Nicely made... quality materials... with a little hand edged carrying case.

Fantastic price for all that you can do with this! It arrived on time and in perfect condition. It came with batteries, and ready to use. It is a great magnifier with or without light, includes a jeweler's loupe, has a UV mode, and flashlight mode. All work perfectly. I am the type that doesn't like to be out of batteries. Even though it came with batteries, I went to eBay and bought 30 replacement batteries for less than $5 including shipping. I have been looking for a good, yet lightweight magnifier, and this is it! It also comes with a pouch to store it in. Yes, I recommend this product!A few days laterI have been using this magnifier for several days now. I don't know how I got along with out it. I love all it can be used for by just clicking on the power button. The magnifier is fantastic! There doesn't seem to be any distortion, and I can finally see small print in dark lighting.I have been visually challenged since birth. Although I wear glasses, I sometimes need extra help with the fine print. I have always had a magnifier, but my favorite was heavy, bulky, and did not have a protective case, so I really couldn't keep it in my purse. I am going to but another one so that I can have one on my nightstand, and one for my purse. I may order more for gifts because I love it so much.

I have used the standard issue flip-out field lens (10x or 20x) for many years as a field botanist and photographer. A friend recently loaned me his Fancii lens and I immediately ordered my own. The 10x lens is large and I don't have to flip the lens open to view the fern or other object I am viewing. The 60x illumination can bring stunning detail to field observations--yesterday a Bishop's Cap flower view that was remarkable. The optics are good, maybe a bit less so for the small 20x view. I wish the protective cloth "cover" that comes with the device was less snug and came with a drawstring to make easier getting the lens into its carrying case to go back into my pocket with spare change etc. I was interested in knowing more about replacement batteries but don't think that information was available as shipped.

The lights on it are GREAT! I've had smaller lighted magnifiers before, but none shed as widespread a light under the magnifier as this one does. The one drawback I found was that I'd have liked a bigger field of vision; but to get that, I'd probably have had to have given up the great portability and size of this magnifier. Overall, a very good product.

I am a 75 year-old man with diminished vision. I love this little magnifier so much I purchased 2 more. I will certainly get more to give as gifts. I've had low vision my whole life, and have a drawer full of magnifiers of every conceivable size and strength. This little gem is the most useful one I have ever used for casual investigation of life's little treasures. It is meticulously crafted for its price. Its construction shows creativity and ingenuity seldom seen in this price range. Although I wouldn't recommend it, I even mistakenly washed it when I washed my jeans. Still works flawlessly.Here are a few of its many plusses:1. Lenses are clear and sharp.2. Lights are bright.3. Perfect for reading small printed labels.4. Comfortable to hold.5. Comes with soft case and fits easily in pants pocket.6. On/off button is perfectly placed for either left or right handed person.7. Has a little purple light for you to catch "Slick Willy" when he tries to slip you a counterfeit bill.7. The little micro lens is perfect for a child, or me for that matter, to check the anatomy of small bugs.Congratulations to the creator of this little gem. It is indeed a treasure.

Nice little magnifier! No noticeable distortion, even in the corners of the lens. The LEDs light the appropriate areas well. the pushbutton has a good quality feel and positive click. The slight angle in the housing is good ergonomically, wraps around my thigh when in my front pants pocket, and helps protect the lenses when it is placed on a flat surface. I carry it in my pocket without the magnifier's protective sleeve, so there is no fumbling when I need to use it quickly. Personally, I would have preferred a 4x or 5x main lens rather than the 3x supplied. The 10x lens could have been a bit larger. The 60x microscope with its own lighting is a nice touch.

I am not sure when I will use the ultra violet part but am very happy with the magnifying glass overall.Also it is small enough to fit in your pocket. Great

I originally looked at this as a wish-list item as a hobby-tool but ended up buying one for my wife since her vision has suffered as the side-effect of a medical treatment. To keep it short, she loves it and I think it'll be destined to go everywhere with her in the TARDIS that is her handbag...

UV function worked really well for finding hidden objects in my daughter's book. She also loves putting things under the "microscope"

Strangely this has three LED's at the and to use as a torch (which is ineffective as a torch) and only one LED for normal lamination when using the magnifying glass as a magnifying glass. There is also one more LED for UV use when magnifying which has little purpose. Would have been better to have three LED's to illuminate what you are looking at when using the magnifying glass for the purpose most people will buy it for.... a magnifying glass!!! and not a torch! Also it uses several small disk shape batteries so you will have to order special ones rather than just an AAA.

Great value magnifying glass with so many options. I was surprised how bright the leds are and how all functions work well, the small one on the side is amazing for seeing close up detail say on jewellery.It has a black leather type sleeve to keep it in which is a nice touch.Only small boggle is the light function has one on the top to act like a torch but you have to press it to get to each light function so can dazzle yourself or others.Overall best I have seen at this price point and I would recommend.
