Issues Syncing
I’m continuing to have an issue syncing this device. The directions are odd and use pictures that aren’t the actual product. I tried using the smart life app, which the directions indicate. For some reason this item will not sync with my WiFi and I am following the directions perfectly. The product is a fine power strip, so I’m giving it a two, but I really would love if I could learn how to sync it to my wifi. If this gets fixed I would absolutely change my rating.

Emits high pitched noise 24/7
There are outlets that stay on and a few outlets that are smart outlets. When the smart outlets are turned off, if your hearing is good enough it makes this really annoying high pitched noise, if I didn't wear earplugs to sleep I would return this immediately. I bought this so I could turn all the electionics off that emit too much light in the dark and then it goes and makes that noise? The back is flat at least so I could stick it to the wall with command strips.Edit: it's not just when the smart outlets are off that this high pitched noise starts. It seems like it's all the time, so I highly suggest if you have good hearing and are able to hear high frequencies to stear clear of this product. It's too late for me to return and I'm about to cut my losses and go back to the old fashioned power strip

This has major problems with the smart plug connection
After trying for over 2 hours it said it was connected to the app. It turned the lights on 1 time and has never connected again. It always says it has a network connectivity error. This is going back. I am totally regretting that I spent so much of my time trying to get it to work. I tried finding a support function on a website and there isn’t one. tried reading all the reviews for help. The user manual is hopeless. I tried the AP connection option as well and it turned into an endless loop. It’s being returned.

Better than expected
I am pleasantly surprised with this power strip. It has five regular (always on) plugs and 5 wi-fi (Alexa compatible) plugs. I bought it to control my fishtank daytime light and nighttime light. Now I don't even have to get up to switch the bright light to the blacklight!! It has 3 USB ports, so charging mobile phones and other USB devices, is easy. Has a convenient screw hole to mount to the wall, making easy to get to! Plus it will protect against power surges! Great Buy!

Dead on arrival
My old WiFi power strip lasted nearly 2 years. I got this one bc it has one more WiFi plug than my old one. It's a good thing I had a WiFi power strip in the past. This one came with zero instructions for pairing it - not even that tissue paper with scribbles in a size 4 font. Sure, pairing is a simple process. But if it's your first WiFi power strip... Anyway, the WiFi button did not light up, didn't flash after holding it down to pair it, nothing. Also, the more I looked at it, the more it looked like it wasn't new. It was a bit dirty and there were scuff marks on the bottom of the strip. I'm betting it's a returned unit they turned around and shipped back out.Now I have to wait another week for another power strip (different brand this time). And I have to go to a UPS store with this hunk of junk. Aaargh!

DONT DO IT
UPDATED REVIEW as of 4/25/2021Don’t waste your money.I thought the delay was bad and then I came home after work and the ENTIRE smart half of my outlets are dead. The wifi button even is dead like the only part that works are the regular plugs. I contacted to see about a replacement and Amazon will only give you a refund after you ship the item back.I had hoped for this plug and now I regret purchasing it.There is quite a bit of delay when turning things off and on via the smart plugs. Sometimes it can be about a few seconds to 2-3min. It does work so I will give it that and it is nicely made and wasn’t to hard to set up

Power Strip = Yes, Smart = Not Always
I got this smart power strip because of how many plugs it has, and their placement allowing for the bigger square plugs so you're not blocking others, and being able to link them up to my Alexas. However, setting up this power strip took a few tries, much more difficult and time consuming than it should be, I followed the instructions and didn't do anything different each time, but it still took multiple attempts to get connected; I never was able to get it connected in EZ mode, and had to use the more manual and complicated AP mode. So setup was more time consuming and frustrating than it should have been! Then the power strip doesn't STAY connected! Even when our wifi doesn't go out, the power strip goes offline. The only way to reconnect it has been to docoonect and remove the device, then start the whole process of adding it all over again. Doing this you lose all your routines and plug names associated with the power strip; just like the first time it doesn't add on the first try. I've only had this for about 2 months and I've had to remove and re-add the power strip about every 2 weeks; this last time its been over a week and I haven't been able to get it to re-connect as a smart device, its operating as a normal power strip.I gave it the 2 stars for the amount of plugs and their placement, but I took away 3 for the inconvenience and lack of use as a smart device.

Nerds dream come true!
This is a great power strip. It has enough outlets to make a computer programmer happy. I enjoy the fact that I can turn on all of my equipment on as a scheduled task before I step foot into my office in the morning. I also enjoy the fact that I can turn everythin off with one command to alexa. Having USB charging ports is a pure bonus as many office gadgets now days use USB to power then such as desk lamps and desk fans.
