Does as it says it does.
It protects the screen when flipped down. Has a tiny dimmer wheel to adjust brightness. And is overall better than any other light accessory made for the GameBoy Advance hand held console. Worth it.

Very useful accessory
It's not easy or advisable to play a gameboy advance (other than the SP) without attaching a light. I ordered one from another site that was supposed to be in like new condition but it had a little notch snapped off that is needed to keep it attached to your system. Was very happy to find the exact same item here, same price roughly but this one actually was in perfect condition. Thank you!

Dim is an understatement
I tried a number of different lights, and I liked the idea of it being powered by the ext connector other than more batteries like most of the others. However when i plugged this one in i could barely see the screen at all. It gave a glare, but the reflection off the screen made it even worse. The LED in it is dim and kept flickering on and off, which only confirms the shotty workmanship of it from the get go. If i had to use a light it certainly would not be this one, even the wormlight did better than this thing, which says how bad this thing really is. Buyer beware, and don't buy this. It's a total waste of money.

Works perfectly
Used it on my gba I bought for $15. I even customized my gba themed after Pokémon sliverWith lugia and raichu. I’m waiting on a new lenses with Pikachu and pichu

Didn’t work straight out the package
Came in the mail with the light switch already flipped to “ON.” I didn’t think much of it because I thought it’d be powered by a battery like an older model I had, but then realized it doesn’t need one. When I plugged it into my Game Boy it didn’t function at all and now it just doesn’t work.

Terrible
What a piece of crap. Straight out of the package, it doesn't work. I mean, sure it'll prevent some scratches, but that's not why I bought it. If you need a light, this is not a good choice.

It didn't work on my Advance Game Boy..
I am sorry to say that this light shield didn't work on my advanced game boy. I have an older model, I guess. You should ask the seller about the age of your advanced game boy.
