Electric Winch 4500lb,Electric Utility Winch for UTV ATV Boat

We just got a new 4Runner and I'm adding all kinds of toys to the interior and exterior. I wanted to have a winch as an option and even-though this one says it's for ATVs, I figured using snatch block with severely lesson the weight of my SUV and make this 4500 pound winch work well. Since installing it, I've tried it a few times and it's not bad. I was afraid it would be under powered, but it held its own. I also attached the winch to a quick release trailer receiver that bolts onto a cradle plate that Amazon sells. This way I didn't have to drill holes into my frame and through my bumper on my new 2020 4 Runner. I guess the one draw back is I can only use the winch from the rear, but it'll have to do for now.I found the install to be fairly easy, although I'm mechanically inclined and the directions were alright. I really like the wireless remote and is one of the main reasons I chose this model. Also, I bought the configuration that has the steel rope, not synthetic. I do believe that if the cable ever breaks it can be changed.All the bolts, electric connections, OEM mounting plate, and hook came in the very heavy package. I use a tow strap to increase the length of where I can pull from and as mentioned earlier the snatch block reduces my drag quite a bit. Don't buy this model if you need to pull very heavy vehicles, but a mid size SUV and smaller works great. I did try and pull my Chevy Tahoe and I could hear the strain.DO NOT FORGOT TO WEAR GLOVES AND PUT A TOWEL OR SOMETHING OVER THE CABLE WHEN PULLING. This is winch 101 safety my friends!

So. We have a hunting cabin up in the mountains. It has already snowed up there unexpectedly and of course, that was when the husband decided to take the corolla up without checking the weather (gas mileage on the beater is so much nicer than the truck lol). Well, he couldn't get all the way up during the evening so decided to just leave the car halfway on the driveway and "deal with it in the morning". hahahaha. This is what we woke up to. Thus, the purchase of a winch so that my full of wisdom husband won't have this problem again since we keep the JD tractor up there.First of all, the installation on the tractor was really easy. There was multiple installation wiring kits included and everything was not only clearly labeled, but all of the installation guide was in legit English! It took my husband less than an hour to put everything together and that was double checking himself too.Having the wireless remote was even better because he could control the winch while in the tractor instead of my butt standing out in the cold with him (not my fault, not my problem in this household lol). The motor has a very smooth, even pulling power too. No crazy jerking movements of stutters when it was pulling the car up and straight. And on a different note, it actually has a pretty small and streamlined look on the tractor. Weather resistant and water resistant too. Overall, the perfect emergency item for the cabin, as my husband clearly found out.

Excellent product! Well worth the money! Pulled an RZR 900 100' up a hill in the sand! Wireless remote is a nice option as well.

This electric winch has been perfect for our 4 wheelers. Although this winch is quite compact, which is part of what makes it great for 4 wheelers, it is also very powerful. Don’t let the small size fool you. This winch comes with some power, it has a 4500 pound tension winding motor. We have used this winch multiple times to pull other 4 wheelers out of areas that otherwise without it they would not able to get out of. Installation was quite easy. It has everything you need for installation, all the wiring and all the hardware needed. My husband was able to install it on his own in a timely manner. It is weather resistant and waterproof resistant which is a necessity. A feature that I like that we haven’t had on previous winches is the remote control. The remote control makes the use of the winch simple. It operates very smoothly, there isn’t any stalking or jerking, just smooth winding. This winch has been great for us for when we are having fun with our recreational vehicles, but I am also thankful that we will have this if an emergency ever arises. It has proven to be durable and sturdy.

The winch has a solid and strong feeling that looks good and has solid and strong tooling. I can't speak to the approx 49' length mentioned in the description of the winch, but I have a 6x9 trailer that I use the winch on the back end to pull things into the trailer with ease and plenty of cabling. The cable is solid and strong making it easy for me to pull my riding lawn mower into my trailer as well as many other things. If you're one that cares about looks... it would look good on the front of any truck or ATV. The cabled switch allows you to work at a safe distance just in case the cable was to break and besides having a smooth operation the motor moves at a good pace for pulling items.

The wiring is really easy to setup. Everything is color coded so you just match the same colors and that's it. Drill your mounting holes and you are ready to go. It's a pretty quick install overall. The winch is pretty heavy duty for a UTV winch and comes with overload protection and stainless steel rope. The motor runs well and I have had no issues with any binding or any overload issues. It has your standard remote so you can operate the winch at a safe distance. So far it's been a really nice winch and it's a really great deal for the price you really can't beat it.
