So, I purchased this hose kit to hook up a built in dishwasher that I made a cabinet for to be used as a portable dishwasher, that with a quick connect fitting, hooks up to the kitchen sink faucet. Worked perfectly for two months after completing the project. Yesterday, I came home to a massive flood, only to find out the brass fitting had fractured at the hookup on the dishwasher itself. The hose was not over tightened, and was strain relieved with four wire tyes to the metal frame of the dishwasher. Fixed in place, solid as can be. The other end of the hose was the sink hookup end that was handled many times in the past two months. I would strongly recommend anyone not buy this product for hookup of ice maker or dishwasher where the water is always on. I can not tell you how much damage this has caused.
