I grew up loving the choose your own adventure books and was disappointed in the lack of options for my own sons. This book set has been wonderful! Fun for us to read and definitely lots of options to keep them busy. Helps them improve their reading and work on decision making at the same time. Stories are great for 7 to 11 age range.

Remember these books from camping when I was a youngster with my grandparents! I am going to share these stories with my grandkids and am super excited to share it with them! The print is rather small and I have to use cheaters(reading glasses) to read them...

I'm giving this product a 4 star rating. I bought these for my 9 year old son on the advice of my husband since he enjoyed them as a child. My son read one of them before bed and said he wasn't going to read them at night anymore because the pictures are "a little creepy" and he didn't want those images in his mind at bedtime. Otherwise these are fun stories and a nice set to give as a gift. If you have a more sensitive reader maybe hold off on this set. I included pictures of some of the images in the books so you can see for yourself and decide if your child would enjoy these books or not. The value for the money seems appropriate and these books are good quality and come in a holder that contains the 4 books. The reading level seems ok for my 4th grade average student.

I liked them. Read them as a kid and loved them. Apparently... Teenagers now don't like it if theres no screen. Oh well.

My five year old nephew loves being able to choose his own adventure and see where it takes him when he makes different choices. He loves story time with his parents and these books give him the opportunity to decide which adventure they go on.

Libri molto interessanti, classici del CYOA che non possono mancare sullo scaffale. Valuto 4 stelle solo perchè la scatola contenitore è arrivata danneggiata, con uno strappo sul fondo e quindi ho dovuto riparare con del nastro adesivo per far tenere la forma. Danno che non vale il reso, anzi, sono in mostra ugualmente e non viene influenzata l'esperienza di lettura, essendo il contenitore "un extra" dal mio punto di vista. Bellissimi e consigliatissimi, sono in inglese ovviamente!

These storylines are so random and you can't really deduct the outcome of any of the choices. My daughter and I wasn't happy with the quality of the stories either. There are other better ones out there for children like the case Closed series which are more fun and have puzzles in them as well.

Four different 'Choose your own adventure' books with four different themes, but it was not for my 6 year old. This is really aimed for an older reader about 9 year olds and up. As an adult it was a fun different type of read because there is quite a bit of moving around the pages and you choose your way through the story. Lots of random mystical choices which I found weird for children's reading.
