I live in San Diego, I work for Uncle Sam (government) and this is not a fake review. The Battery was easy to install and only took 15 to 20 minutes. Although this battery came with the necessary tools, I used a previously-purchased $6 Rion Tech tool set to remove the special type of screws on the MacBook bottom and the battery since the Rion Tech tools are precision tools that won't strip and are really well-made for this task. Interestingly, as shown in the attached photo from the "Battery Health 2" app, the battery manufacture date is listed as Apr 1, 2015 (7.5 years old) but it's not clear if the battery has been sitting on a shelf for all this time or if the date shown is not accurate. For example, this third party battery would have needed to have been made the same year my 2015 MacBook Air was made...I can't verify the manufacture date one way or the other beyond what I see in the app. Regardless, the battery charges to 8,214 mAh which is 3% more than the rated 8,000 mAh, so having 103% health at the start of it's life is a good start for this battery. My MacBook keeps a solid charge when I store it unplugged in sleep mode (i.e. when I just close the lid), so the new battery is not losing charge overnight while it's just sitting there. The battery cycle count on my MacBook now shows as "1" and everything is working as it should. I obviously can't talk to longevity but so far, so good, and at cost of about $43, I'd buy this battery again without question.

I love this computer battery! It was an easy installation, you just have to keep track on where which screws go where and the battery fits in place and the tools were easy to use.The quality is amazing and I’m finally able to use my computer again!

Ordered and received on time. I waited 6+ weeks before I installed it into my MacBook Air. (My old battery was still working and I was out of town).Once installed, the battery wouldn't charge past 54% and the laptop died after two minutes if it wasn't plugged into the charger. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement right away which is working great so far. It charged 100% and is holding its first charge really well.Because I had waited so long before I installed, the return process was more work than usual. I had to contact the company directly and go through a few emails with them. Not a big deal at all, but not as easy as the "return or replace" button that Amazon offers right after purchase.So far the battery is working great.

Im so happy I bought this battery my laptop not only works so much faster but I thought I had to purchase a whole new laptop because my battery was bad and I had an older MacBook. Thanks so much for such an easy installation and great product. by the way this is the first time I ever tried to change a laptop battery and I felt like a pro because of how easy it was. another bonus was the tools, happy that came with the product.

I have only had this for a short time (about a week and a half) and I know some reviews questioned the amount of time that battery lasted. So far it has performed perfectly, my battery life is back to normal and I am able to use my laptop the way I want to. Should anything change over time I will amend my review.

My 2013 MacBook Air was in need of a new battery. I purchased this battery and it was easy to install, and has been powering my laptop flawlessly for a couple of months now.I’ll probably buy another one for my wife’s MacBook Air.

I got this battery hoping it would last a while. The battery died at 40% immediately after installing it.

Installed battery as instructed. Have a message that says "Service recommended. Battery's capacity is significantly reduced". Contacted Egoway and they told me to unplug and reinstall the battery, which I did. Error message still there.Edit: Egoway did send me another battery and the problem persists. The battery is functioning as a new battery should but the message is still there. It looks like it's being caused by the computer interpreting info from the battery as being manufactured 8 years ago and the age is causing the service message to appear. I highly doubt this battery was manufactured 8 years ago. I'll knock a star off for it but other than the service message, the battery seems to be functioning properly.
