Very clever on one side you look ugly and if you turn it round you look 5 times worse

This travel makeup mirror arrived in a branded cardboard and had cardboard packaging holding everything inside. The mirror was packaged within a frosted plastic bag and a USB charging cable kept together with a plastic tab. There was also a user manual included in the box and the mirror had a protective film which does need to be removed before use. There are also other mirrors available from this seller in this listing as well.The mirror measures 14cm in width and 20.3cm in height which is a good size for applying makeup, with a thickness of 1.5cm when closed and it is also very lightweight, making it perfect for travelling with. It folds out to create a stable base with adjustable angle and folds away again in a flat compact form, ideal for travelling with. The base also acts as a protective cover and the hinge component has undergone 10000-fold tests so the mirror should be good in terms of durability.The mirror itself is a good size and it has three lighting modes of differing temperature warmth – a cool white, a neutral white and a warm white. Personally, I prefer the neutral warm for applying makeup. The light is operated with a touchscreen button on the front of the mirror but this is minimal and doesn’t interfere with the overall aesthetics of the mirror.The LED light wraps around three sides of the mirror for excellent illumination, but there is no way to change the brightness setting nor is their magnification either (something I would have expected at this price point). There isn’t a storage case included either which considering it is a travel mirror is a bit of an oversight,The LED light is powered via a rechargeable lithium battery, which charges quickly, and a single charge supposedly last 2 weeks. It also automatically turns off after 20 minutes to preserve battery life, but it doesn’t switch off when you shut the case, so you end up switching it off manually anyway.Priced at £34.99 at the time of reviewing, this mirror is a good travel mirror with a nice clear reflective surface and the built-in lights help apply makeup easily. The white mirror has a nice clean aesthetic and is ideal for a small dressing table. However, I do feel like it is missing the dimming feature and storage case in particular.

Before I had even seen the mirror, I knew I was in for a treat, as the manufacturer has spent time making sure it's safe inside its box. A clever usage of tabs keep the mirror secure, and the USB charger cable secure. The mirror itself also sits inside a poly bag to protect it and the mirror also has a protective film. Add all these together, and I could tell this had been thought about, as it wasn't excessive packaging, but it was clever.And that follows through with the design of the mirror itself. It folds flat, but opens out so far that it's back on itself, so you can adjust it to the perfect angle and it's very stable. I had no fear the hinge was poorly made and there were no sharp edges.Then the mirror itself is very clear and the light around the edge lights your face evenly. I like the option of 3 different tones of 'white' - some harsher whites can be tricky when applying makeup, I liked the mid-colour as it seemed the most natural. It's a good size too, the magnification of some other mirrors I own can distort, but this is very clear.I don't think I've ever loved a mirror more! It's not cheap to buy but then, it's a great quality and I think very good value for money. I've charged it up, I don't know how long it'll last but being LEDs, I imagine it will last well. Overall, a superb mirror, very happy to recommend.

This portable travel mirror with LED, measures 20x14cm, and it has a support stand that also doubles as a protective cover. It has three colour settings, cool white, warm white and yellow white. I particularly like the white light when putting make up on, as I feel I am putting on my make up in natural day light. The adjustable stand rotates up to 303 degrees which is good for different angles.This USB rechargeable mirror is perfect for travelling, or a day out, as it is small enough to fit in a handbag. The power charge will last up to two weeks with daily use, again great for a holiday. I have taken it away for a weekend and I did find it very useful. I wear contact lenses and we recently had a trip to the beach. I found this handy to have in the car to use to put my contact lenses back in after I had washed them. I have recently put it on my dressing table and although there is a large mirror there, I find myself reaching for this more convenient one. It is a great addition to my makeup routine. I am sure it will last a very long time and I do not need to buy batteries for it, so for me it is great value.

Brilliant makeup mirror. I choose to use on the brightest setting but that is just preference. Also rarely use the auto on/off function as I don’t want it to come on if I get up at night
