Sennheiser 508678 - RS135-9 Stereo Wireless Audio Headphones, Black

Like you would expect these Sennheiser headphones produce a pleasing sound. Easy to wear with good flat on the ear layout. A brilliant physical design, the batteries (AAA nickel metal, hydride are perfect for these long lived rechargeable cans) Audiophiles won't like these, just based on price. All 1% er's spend all you want ~ you can spend as much as you want on headphones ~ with diminishing returns. I usually wear them for 4 hours listening to an eclectic mix on Spotify with comfort. I love that these phones have 3 analog adjustments on the earpieces themselves. Bass headed rappers will not like these, as these are not tone colored at all. Buy the RS-135-9 model. The chrome bar that holds the phones on the base acts as the wireless antenna and supplies the batteries with a nice trickle charge while they are not in use. Not blutooth, analog... remember? One warning is that these headphones rest gently on your head, so if you're up and dancing you will dance the phones off your head. So just don't...

I use the headphones as a monitor for my piano keyboard and it works great. Very clear sound (better than my studio speakers) and wire -free. I'm only 3' from the transmitter, but it works in other rooms, with occasional light RF hiss. No latency that I can detect (it's RF not bluetooth).

After two tries with the HsPro,which will not hold a charge and has poor sound quality, I decided to upgrade to the Sennheiser based on my experience with Sennheiser Mics. I have not been disappointed. Well worth the extra $$$.The only wak place is if you move around. they do not fit your head very snugly, but very comfortable when sitting still.

Purchased these so I could watch TV and play PS later at night and not wake up everyone in the house. I connected these to my stereo receiver, which in turn is connected to the TV, game systems, fire stick etc....These advertise being able to connect to an optical out, audio out or 5.6mm headphone jack. For my setup, only the headphone jack would work as that would allow all the different sound sources which are plugged into the receiver, to go to the headphones.Sadly, this connection method leaves a lot to be desired. Even with the ability to "tune" the headphones there was still noticeable static which would get worse or better depending on how I turned my head. There would also be random pops of static which were much louder than the audio I was listening to which was very annoying.I returned the 1st pair and tried a replacement pair in the hope's it was just a bad set, but the 2nd pair had the same exact issues.In the end, I ended up returning these and purchasing the RS 175 headphones. Those are much better in terms of sound quality and although more expensive, I feel they do a good job and are worth it.

Received yesterday, problem is over ear culp allows headphone to fall off head. Do you have over ear culps? I am a senior, deaf in one ear with major loss in other ear, use headphones for long hours watching TV, have used the Sony 985 for years, trying to find one lighter weight. Noticed the Avantree 41899 and 5009. What do you reconned,

Buyer beware. I loved these headsets while they worked. I could hear everything in the TV dialogue again. Unfortunately, the green light went out on the transmitter. The power supply is still working meaning the receiver is defective. Apparently, this is a well-known defect with this model. I got so frustrated with the receiver that I banged it on the table. Guess what? The green light came on for a minute and went out (made in China). The Sennheiser website and phone number Amazon provided do not work. I contacted Sennheiser via website and filled in a support ticket today. I will update the outcome here soon but I wished I had purchased another brand instead. Sennheiser does not support their products ! For now, I use it as a paper weight on my workbench.

I purchased this product because my central a/c unit was loud and my hearing has deteriorated to the extent that I couldn’t understand what was being said on tv without closed captioning being on all the time. So far it has worked flawlessly, the sound quality is excellent, the range is so good I can walk outside to my car without signal and I’ve sat, on weekends, for more than 8 hours (more than a normal person ever should😂) watching news, movies and listening to music and still have never run the batteries down!

Easy connection, sound great. Definitely best out there for the price.
