My daughter wanted a blue carpet for her room so badly. I shopped around at local furniture stores (minimum $200) and mass retailers (a certain store with a big red logo $60-$80 and smaller than this one). I decided to take a look on Amazon and came across this one. I was a little hesitant since some of the reviews said it looked cheap and you could see the mat through the fur. For $30 I figured it was worth a shot since it was going in a four year olds room. Sooner or later she was bound to spill something on it. When it arrived it came folded up in a rectangle bag about the size of a king sized sheet set. I was nervous it was going to be tiny but then I kept unfolding and unfolding. I was pleasantly surprised at how big and soft this rug is. You can see through it a bit if you're running you hands over it and pushing down on the fur. If you're just walking on it it's fine. The edges of the carpet aren't exactly pleasant to look at but once the fur moves around on my light carpet it's not completely obvious. When its first put down it does look bumpy. I smoothed it out as best I could. Took 2-3 days but it seems to be laying flat now. My daughter adores this carpet. The first day we put it in her room she wanted to sleep on it instead of her bed. It's so soft. The color is beautiful and matches her frozen themed bed. I don't know how well this will vacuum up. I have not tried to vacuum this yet. The fur is long so maybe the highest up setting on the vacuum would work best. I have not noticed any shedding in the week I've had it set up. Overall I would buy this again. Maybe not the exact color because it doesn't match other parts of my house, but it's a nice cheap area rug.

I was really surprised how nice this rug was! I mean the size you get for the price was already wonderful! But now that I actually got to feel it, and see it in person. It's way better than I expected, I am very satisfied with this purchase! Have not tried cleaning it yet, but I read other reviews, and people say to hand wash it. I would highly say that is the way to go, I will be hand washing myself when it needs it. Just based off how it feels it would be a safe choice to do so! But as I was saying about the quality, you really can't go wrong! It is very soft on the feet, the height on the shag is I'd say an inch maybe less. My rugs shag seems to go over all the edges pretty well too. I took the best close up photos I could I wanted to show the border line of the rug so you can see how far the shag drapes over it. I would highly recommend this item! You won't be disappointed🙌 It is Dog approved! Lol 🐕🐶 Update! Also wanted to add that the packaging was really nice on this rug; not only was it in a nice little zip bag; But they folded it properly so it would lay flat!!! Also: Like it says Do not machine wash! I did hand wash mine, and hang dry. It came out really nice!!! Super fluffy too😄 just gently use some liquid laundry detergent with water; Then use your hand to go back, and fourth gently through all the shag fibers.. rinse with cold water and hang dry over your shower or bath tub will take about 2 hours to dry enough to where you can use a blow drier on low cool speed to run your hands through it to fluff it up!! 🙌 hope this helps someone!! 😉

*Update* I reached out to the seller and told them my rug was ruined because it was washed and they said they would issue me a refund. Regarding what they said about washing the rug "We are very sorry that the rug was damaged. We apologize for any inconvenience. Maintenance methods and machine wash method: 1. the carpet can be used vertical and drum household washing machine washing machine, in the cleaning time, please read the instructions of the washing machine and select the carpet can be used to clean the appropriate mode, due to the different shape of the washing machine, the carpet may not fit. If you encounter this situation, please do not have a hard plug, please also use hand wash. 2. Please use neutral detergent. (Powder detergent, please pay attention to be fully dissolved), please do not use bleach. 3. It is best to use the cleaning net. 4. When you put into the cleaning net, be sure to keep the back and fold in the back." Their customer service is great and they got back to me the next day and wanted to provide a satisfactory solution, which was a refund. Overall decent product and great customer service. 4 stars. ------------------------------------------- I was looking for a cheap rug since I recently got wood flooring installed and I missed the feeling of carpet beneath my feet. I came across this Amazon listing and bought myself the gray rug to put in my room. Two days later, it arrived in a neat little package and I was amazed about how soft it felt. I laid it down in my room and immediately my dog jumped on and took a nap. She loves the rug. Fast forward a couple months later, the rug starts getting dirty. It's embedded with dog fur and dirt so I decided I wanted to clean the rug but I don't have a vacuum so I start to wonder if I could machine wash it. I pull up the Amazon listing under features and details and it does in fact state that "The rug is machine washable, please air dry it...." So that's exactly what I did. I put it in the washing machine to wash it and air dried it. It turned out to be a horrible mistake. By washing it, it ruins the cushion that's embedded in the rug. Little tiny bits of it came off everywhere. I can't even lay it down in my room without it these grainy bits all over my floor. The fibers of the rug are filled with the grainy bits. This rug is official ruined and I don't even know what I should do with it. At this point I should just toss it. I'm angry that it states that this rug could be washed when it should not be washed at all. The sad part was my dog and I really enjoyed the rug. This listing has inaccurate information so please don't believe everything you read on the listing.

I bought this for my dog to lay on as our house is all wood flooring and he LOVES soft things to roll around on. He loves it, I loved it. He got sick on it and I threw it in the washer on cold and let it air dry. Something went wrong with the padding inside as now I can feel it folded over inside but nothing I try seems to help. Almost like the padding expanded or warped inside after the wash. The dog still likes it of course, but for my sanity I think we're going to have to get something new! Aside from maybe ruining it with a wash it was a good rug, very soft but literally caught and hid every crumb, peice of paper, or basic floor junk. Shaking it doesn't help much as the texture of the rug sort of leads it to hold onto everything with a vice grip... Certain things couldn't even be vacuumed out, I had to pick them out by hand, which was a little annoying. All that being said I came here to buy a new one seeing as I ruined this one, so it's not a bad rug, would buy again!

I ordered this hoping for a teal rug for my bedroom to match my coral/teal theme. It definitely is more teal than “true blue” but I’d describe it as more of an aqua. Gorgeous, vibrant color! It doesn’t quite match my teal drapes, but I’m not picky, so it doesn’t bother me. The rug is so soft. However, you get what you paid for: it’s more like a bath mat in that it’s quite thin and spongy. It does have little rubber grippies on the bottom, since it’s advertised as no slip on the underside. The fibers are far apart and the underlying mat is exposed if you look closely (but it’s not noticeable from afar). The issue with this is that since the fibers don’t provide enough coverage over the slippery mat underneath the fibers themselves on the top of the rug (not the underside that’s advertised as no-slip), when you step on the rug, your foot kind of goes through the fibers and keeps going forward, making it easy to slip. Plus, since the fibers are indeed so soft, that makes it slippery too. If walking in socks, I can see where an elderly person or toddler might fall down very easily. Be very careful about purchasing this for kids’ rooms or if you’re prone to falls. Besides that though, for what I paid for it, it’s quite lovely and met my expectations.

I felt compelled to write this review because of some bad reviews I read .. this is a great product for certain needs ...it’s purpose is not for your living room in an expensive home .. I purchased it for my bedroom closet ( along with a velvet topped white stool, also from Amazon that a hurricane could not topple ) and liked it so much I purchased another for a girls room ... there are so many places it would be useful ! It’s very soft yet no shedding , you can WASH it ! I don’t know about you , but a spot clean only rug in a child’s room is laughable to me , the rug is thin but very soft and excellent play rug , I received two a hot pink and a purple .. no Wrinkles no ridges took them out after 30 minutes no crease marks even visible .. I haven’t washed them yet but my washer will I’m sure, do this up very nicely on delicate mood , they are a terrific value ... oh and did I mention NO weird smell ... I’m thinking of where I could use another ...I think these are just awesome ...

If you haven't figured it out by now, rugs are outrageously expensive. A decent rug will set you back 60 -300 dollars. My son is 15 months old and I wasn't about to go spending diaper money on a rug he would probably destroy at some point anyway. This is rug is amazing for the price. My son loves it. My dogs enjoy it too. It's the perfect size for his small room. Keep in mind the seller is in China so don't expect a quick delivery. I was kind of worried how this rug might look based on other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, some bath rugs are thicker then this rug but keep in mind the price. A bathrug is very small and this rug is much bigger. You are getting what you pay for. It has a nice thin cushion to it. It is a tad slippery but not enough to slip on. My son loves how soft it feels on his feet. Great purchase. Very happy.

When we purchased this, we read the reviews and questions and thought we knew what we were getting. Yes, it's very affordable so we can't quite expect thick and durable foam or high carpet density. That's a trade off we accept as it's cheap, machine washable, and decently stylish. We got this so our toddler can have something in additional to/different from the usual playmats to play on and roll around in. That was a yuuge mistake. The fibers come off of the carpet in big chunks. Just by us walking on it, clusters of these fur balls will come off and stick to everything. It's on our pants, shirts, and socks (my parents told us when they got home after a visit, they had to pick out all the bits of our carpet from all of their clothes). It's in corners of the room and all over the place where the carpet doesn't cover (we vacuum lots and have a constantly running air purifier). The very worst part, it's all over our child. It's in his hair, between his fingers, in his mouth, and in his eyes. He's not even the curious type that puts things in his mouth or play rough with the carpet/toys. The first time we found our little dude chewing on something, which turned out to be a clump of carpet fibers that must have made its way to his face because... they're everywhere, we knew we had to retire the carpet. This is not acceptable even if it's affordable. If you don't have kids or pets at home, I suppose you could be ok with this. But honestly, I can't understand how anyone would use this at all when it falls apart this much. And for the record, I had to write this review since I don't see anyone bringing this up. Buyer beware.

This is my second purchase of the same rug, but this one is white. There's no smell, its fluffy and white..( not cream) We are redoing our bed room so we wont be using till January. It comes vacuum sealed and looks so tiny... But its true to size!!

Wow, I am pleasantly surprised. I didn’t expect the rug until Thu, but I rec’d it today Sat 5 days earlier. It came shrink-wrapped in the form of a plastic tube for shipping purposes. I opened it up and voila. Like a memory foam expansion. I ordered the grey rug for my daughter for her bedroom, as she is away for school. The rug is absolutely perfect, 7 x 5. Perfect size, grey - great colour to hide stains. The rug itself and the underlay or skid free material seems durable ... let’s see if it stands the test of time. First impression - I really like it; super soft, foldable, washable. I ordered the white one for myself. Once vacuumed, all the folds/creases disappear.

Lo que me gusto la textura y que no se deslizaba, pero al momento de lavarla en la lavadora, empezó a despedazarse por la parte de abajo, se le quito el agarre que tenía en el suelo y además empezó a soltar como polvo blanco, ya nunca quedo bien el pelo después de lavarlo en casa y peinarlo.
