Fitted great until he tried to walk then his front legs slipped out because it’s too big under the chest. As someone else commented he also ended up doing a sack race!! This was a small size but the XS would be too short along his back and too tight on his chest according to the chart. Returning the coat and not going to take a chance the XS will fit which is a shame as it’s a good dog coat just no good for my dogs shape, long back and short legs!

I have one of these for another dog (S for 4yr old poochon), got the XS for our 13 month old poochon and it fits her fine (13 inch neck to tail, 16.5inch chest). She doesn't like it much yet, but it will save me having to fight to brush her after a rainy walk!

This dog coat is one of the best you can buy, because the size chart they use is good I have purchased two coats now and they fit nicely

Bought for my spaniels, measured as instructed, legs far too long and wide at top for back length, dogs ended up doing sack races!

My female frenchy is about 10kg and seeing recommendations to order 1 size smaller thats what I did even though size M should fit her according to the product dimensions. Im glad I took the smaller one size S as M would have been too big. It fits her perfectly but have to leave it slightly unzipped on her neck as it pulls her on the neck. Its not the product fault its because frenchies have super wide necks. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Good coverage, legs too long for my dog, she has a long body so had to buy a bigger size.

Not for my dog! It rustles so she didn't like moving, its not stretchy, and a bit tight around her chest, so her front legs wouldn't move very well. She didn't look impressed with me when I put it on her😃
