This is a keeper!
This turned out to be excellent for fifth metatarsal and severe ankle sprain with much swelling and sensitivity to touch. I didn't need the boot inflation. The supplied extra pads allowed customizing the snugness around the foot. The velcro straps can be configured to keep the heel motionless and prevent the foot from sliding forward. The straps can be tightened around the shin to prevent bumping. Better, cheaper and less sweaty than the doctor recommendation. Keeping this for the next time I get a sprain!

Support For Recovering Achilles Tendonitis
This walking boot has been a great help during recovery. It feels sturdy, provides good support, and the adjustable air pump makes it easy to get a comfortable fit. The padding is comfortable enough to wear for extended periods, and it gave me more confidence while walking. Overall, it's well made and does exactly what I needed.

This is the only cam boot that you need for faster recovery
I am an ER nurse and unfortunately I thought I only sprained my left foot then only to find out that I broke it (the 5th metatarsal bone). We do have cam boots in our ER but I thought I didn't need it. I had an X-ray and went straight home. Next thing I know, the pain worsened and I couldn't walk. I bought this off amazon and got delivered the next day. When I say I couldn’t walk, I had this excruciating pain if pit my weight on my left foot. This is very easy and straight forward to use. The best part? It has this inflatable feature that will provide compression to help reduce the swelling. I am so happy I got this. The compression feature helped with my swelling and with my fast recovery. I told my coworkers about this because what we have at work did not have the compression feature. I even told the podiatrist that saw me and she wasn't aware there is such. I waited a month before my review because I want to ensure that this cam boot is durable and can withstand repetitive use. I must say, this helped me with my quick recovery although I still use it for the next four weeks. If you need a cam boot, this is what you are looking for. The sizing is accurate. I am guy and I use size 9.5 shoe and I chose medium. It fits perfectly! Now I can walk with no pain and it kept mobile while recovering. I am so thankful because of this, I was able to attend my leadership training graduation in SFO. It is durable, with a fantastic compression feature that can inflate or deflate depending on how much compression you need. The velcro straps are very strong. The cloth material used is very soft and it has this included foam padding if you feel like you need it before strapping. This is also washable as I washed mine in the laundry. Most importantly, it's easy to put back. This is so worth it. I wish we have this kind at work.

Good for feet, bad for dogs
If you have a boy dog in the house, do not leave this medical boot lying around. This boot will immediately catch the attention of the male dog. The male dog will then bite at the boot, rip pieces of boot off of it, then mark his territory all over your hurt foots boot. It is hard to clean this boot when it gets dirty and soiled of dog urine. Once soiled, the smell, the cleaning, and headache when you already have a hurt foot. Good product, but not good when left around a male dog. P.S. I do not have a girl dog so I do not know how a girl dog would react to this medical boot.

Excellent Choice
I am pleasantly surprised at how well this boot is made. It is extremely comfortable and has excellent support. The inflation button provides for as snug a fit as you like, and the velcro is very strong. Thank you to the manufacturers for creating a quality product at a reasonable cost.

Great fitting boot.
I ended up needing a walking boot for my right foot. I had no idea that I would be able to purchase my walking boot on Amazon. It was incredible, because Amazon was able to get my boot to me by the next day. That’s hard to do anywhere, let alone online. I found the experience wonderful for one super important fact, and that was because I followed the instructions on the size that would most fit me, and it certainly does fit me just right. The size meant a lot to whether I would be comfortable during my time wearing the walking boot. I have to mention that there were several extra foams pads, that I was able to affix with the Velcro that was on the pads, into different areas of the boot. I was able to make my boot fit just right, and it was definitely due to the Velcro. It’s actually comfortable inside the boot. And I will tell you that I was quite shocked that when I first stood in my boot, and there was a definite decrease in my pain. I think the reason that the pain is lessened, is because I now have the stability within the walking boot that allows for me to walk comfortably, and correctly. I was also surprised, and very happy, that my walking boot didn’t weigh a lot. I thought that it might, but I am happy to be wrong about this. Plus, the boot actually looks good. It’s pretty easy to get by without everyone asking what happened. This was not be the case when I was on crutches until I received my boot, which, by the way, I received my boot overnight. This wasn’t a fun experience with my foot, but I can tell you that it was made definitely better by having this great walking boot.

Metal rod pokes into your leg as you walk.
I got this to sleep in for plantar fasciitis. I have to get up to the bathroom several times/night so I need to be able to walk on the brace I sleep with. Walking in this is painful. It's got a hard base made of some kind of plastic. It's got metal bars attached to the base sticking straight up on the inside and outside of your leg. The metal sticks up 9 3/4 inches from the bottom of your foot (size medium). The metal rod that's on the inside, wearing on my right foot, pokes at my leg as I walk, and it's position on my leg moves as I walk so it's moving and poking with every step. Last night was the third night I've worn this brace. My leg is being bruised so the pain caused by the metal rod is worsening with each step. And I'm just going to the bathroom and back to bed. I can't imagine trying to walk while wearing this thing for any length of time. I tried bending the metal rod, but can't bend it. I used some pads that come with the brace and they slightly helped but really they just increase the depth of the poking into my leg. I inflated the bladder which just makes the whole thing tighter, that was of no benefit to me and in fact I was afraid I'd wake having damaged my leg from sleeping with it too tightly restricted so I uninflated it. It's not heavy and for laying in bed sleeping it's ok. Obviously it's big and bulky but any hard foot brace will be and so you have to accept that if you're going to use one. The soft inner part looks like it would come out and be washable. Would have been easy for them to make it washable, but no they didn't. It doesn't come all the way out so you can wash it. For walking, I can't imagine how anyone is walking in this without pain from the metal rod poking into their leg.

Helped with Stress Fracture
The adjustable fit is nice. The velcro is VERY strong and stays that way. The boot is pretty lightweight and the solid stability of it allows for good performance and easy wear. The padding does wear down after a couple of weeks though, and so if you have to wear this for longer than that, the fit changes. The extra pads that come with it didn’t seem to help me much.
