Does job... but was not impressed with speed. However u must look at the device u want. I wanted speed and went for this. 4mbs not brill. A different model that is compatible to ur network (which I would have got if I understood) can give you 10/15mbs. Although 4mbs on a data package will give u what u need (if ya stuck like I was)

This dongle works with OpenWRT via the USB port on a TP-Link Archer C7 (with the cdc-ether modules installed). This is great, as it makes load balancing/failover possible, so if the DSL goes down, the 4G connection takes over.4 stars instead of 5, as sometimes the connection does not come up after a reboot until the interface is restarted. However, I am hoping to solve this with a cheeky shell script.

Plug it in ...a bit if faffing about the first time but nothing brain defying after that ...it just connects. There is an annoying sequence the thing goes through at the beginning of every plug-in but it only takes seconds and you dont have to do anything. I think its a bit faster than the last model and picks up a signal better. Money well spent.

Don’t waste your money and time, spent hours trying to get it to work on 3 network. No instructions provided, tried 3, ee and Vodafone wouldn’t connect to any. Returned it, Amazon provided quick refund.

I had the previous model worked well, this just refused to connect. Spent ages trying then sent back got the previous model, popped sim card in and away it went, still working now.
