Effective speaker for teachers
I bought this to use with small groups, but when my colleague, a 5th grade teacher, lost her voice due to illness, I lent it to her. It allowed her to project her voice without too much strain, and the students listened more attentively because they could hear her clearly. The sound was fairly natural without too much distortion. Volume isn’t too intense, but effective for a class of 35. (This assumes it is the kind of class that will quiet down eventually after some correction). Students reported that they could hear the teacher well (and I could hear her fine also on either side of the class). For the teacher, the effect is subtle as the voice is projecting away from you, so it helped that she got feedback from the class that the volume was reaching everyone. For a very large and inattentive outdoor PE class I would not recommend it. But for small groups and manageable classes, it works well. I don’t have experience with the battery life yet, except that it did last her a day and a half of teaching without any report of issues. If you are a teacher who often has vocal strain, or has a quiet voice, this can be helpful. Just mind which way your mic is facing relative to the speaker. She almost quit using it after having feedback problems, as she wasn’t familiar with how sound systems work. Once she knew the speaker needed to be in front of the mic, she had no further problems. While working at her desk, she found it comfortable to rest the speaker on the desk, when seated. It also worked well for walking around the classroom clipped to her belt. For mic placement, I gave her the recommendation from another review here- wear the headband behind the neck and angle the mic up toward the mouth. This seemed a comfortable way to use it without head pressure. All in all, assuming this lasts at least one year, it would be well worth it for my purposes. P.S. I got the rose gold so that it would stand out from all the black technology at my school. As a roaming teacher, I need things to be easy to find when I inevitably misplace them when traveling from location to location.

Fellow educators- this mic might become your new best friend. Give it try!
Best bang for your buck if you’re an educator! I use it everyday when teaching. When I’m not speaking I move the mic arm away from my mouth and turn it off to extend battery life for that charge but leave it on my body for quick access to click on again. I wear mine like a belt and find the least amount of cord issues with it like this. I get headaches from tight headbands and headphones so I actually wear the headset around my neck and angle my mic accordingly and it still works like a charm (as seen in photos)! Sound quality and volume control has been excellent, even in a noisy or large room. I’ve thought about buying the wireless headset and plug from this ZOWEETEK brand to go with the speaker, but I’ve held off as it seems the witless headset battery is quite a bit smaller and wouldn’t fit my needs as well. I don’t mind being wired in though sometimes, due to being so short, I have to finesse the cord so feedback doesn’t occur. However it’s not too much of a hassle to worry about. The mic helps project my voice through my mask it without any issues. I keep my mic on the outside of my mask but it could certainly be tucked inside if that is comfortable for you. If you don’t wear one then your voice will sound even louder and crisper than it does with a mask on. I use this little mic and speaker combo pretty much all day every day in the classroom. I leave it in the room to charge overnight and it’s always ready to go the next the day for class. There have been only a handful of times it’s “died” during teaching (you can tell the battery is low by how the sound quality and overall power of the audio changes). I believe this was due to it getting bumped by custodial staff in the night and the charging cord loosening. When this has happened I just take it off, plug it in and leave it alone for 20-30 minutes. This usually charges it up enough for me to get through the remainder of the day or get me until plan time when I can charge it for longer but again this has rarely had to be done. Otherwise, I’ve never had any issues with it. It saves my voice on the regular. One week due to horrid allergies and multiple other speaking/singing/family gatherings on the weekend, I lost my voice almost completely. Thankfully I was still able to teach my Kinders thanks to this mic being powerful enough to pick up what little voice I still had left without straining it more. I use this mic for pretty much everything, even used it at field day, which was amazing (lots of compliments and admiration from parent volunteers who wished they had a mic that day)! I’m a substitute who specializes in longterm assignments. Last year I was with a group of Kinders for 7 1/2 months and I used this everyday. It allows me to avoid straining my voice and helps me not become a “yeller” teacher, which I can’t stand and don’t want to be! I do not feel that benefits anyones learning experiences and it can easily impact a room/environment negatively if one is not careful. To avoid that, I use my mic! Also, this setup is so much better than the old teardrop Bluetooth mics the district I work in has where the speakers are in the ceiling. I can even use this mic in the hallway, gym, outside, and any other number of locations it might come in handy (see photos). I will be bringing this with me in my teacher go bag for all my future day-to-day assignments until my next long-term comes up. I will continue to use it when I get my own classroom in the future, as well! If you’re an educator looking for a great quality mic, that lasts all day on a full charge with wise usage, saves your voice, is portable, and doesn’t cost a crazy amount then I would strongly encourage you to give this one a try! Happy leading, serving, teaching and growing. :) (purchased November 2021- reviewed July 2022)

Life Saver for Teachers (1.5 year lifespan)
If you’re a teacher, especially for lower grades, this will save your life and your voice! It’s easy to use and charge. I charge it over the weekends and the battery lasts at least a week if not more. It’s a little annoying to have the mic attached with a cord. I would wear the headset around my neck and I also switched out the strap for something cuter. Recently, I’ve taken the strap off altogether and clipping it to my pants. Overall, the microphone lasted me almost 2 school years, which is pretty good! I’m going to switch to a cordless model just because I’m tired of all the wires, but it absolutely served its purpose.

Voice Saver!
I have to talk a lot to children and I was finding that I would go home on Fridays with a hoarse throat. A teacher suggested that I get a voice amplifier and the ZOWEETEK Voice amplifier microphone caught my eye. It stood out because of the color that grabbed my attention. It is very easy to use and I had no trouble putting it together. H The headset fits comfortable and the amplification is loud enough for the entire class to hear me. As a matter of fact, I don't even have to use the highest levels. The strap is long enough to make it fit over my shoulder or to wear it across my trunk. I don't have a hoarse throat anymore and if the noise in the room becomes a little too loud, I can turn it up to get everyone's attention. This is one of my most important teaching accessory and the color makes it quite cute. Already others have purchased their own because of how effectively they have seeen it work. Great buy!

Good product for Teachers!
I am a 6th grade math teacher and using this product everyday for past 2 years. I am not sure how long battery will last without charging, as I just plug in every night before I leave the school. I love this product. I am a soft spoken person and this product gives a nice boost to my voice without being too loud. I have people observed me teaching, and I asked them if they were able to hear me in the back, and everyone said this product was enhancing my voice nicely. During my first year teaching, I was loosing my voice by the end of the day, and can't even feel like talking when home. That's not the case after I started using this product. It's a great product for a space like classroom. I don't think it will be good enough for big conference room, or auditorium. Only concern I have with this product is you can't turn it on before putting it on (I leave it in my neck). If you turn the button on, without speaker being away from receiver, it makes such a loud screech sound. It's not a big of an issue for me. I have a habit now to not turn on without putting it in my neck. I would recommend, if you are looking for a quality product for medium space that will last you for years and is very reasonably priced.

A day at the circus
It came to me very quickly. It works, but its not equipped to stay on your waist unless you have a sturdy belt or something like that. I tried clipping it onto my blouse and I got a lot of feedback in that position. Its okay for the price i guess, but I had a lot of feedback no matter how careful I tried to be. So between the little speaker falling off and the headphones slipping off my head the whole day, then the loud feedback my classroom was like a circus on Friday. The kids got to laugh all day. So, there is that. Maybe its good for someone that doesnt need to move around as much... or at all.

Excellent for University Teaching
I am able to teach six hours straight without losing my voice due to this amplifier. It is loud enough for large university classrooms and auditoriums. Works flawlessley and offers the best value for the dollars spent. Feedback Problem and Workaround: It will squeak at a loud volume due to feedback. However, I solve that problem by clipping it on my waist belt towards my back. That directional disparity resolves the feedback problem. In this configuration, it does not squeal even at the full volume. Background: If you are in public speaking business, you know the importance of a reliable technology including PPT projection and audio. I teach at a large public university where all the fancy tech from inbuilt audio system and bluetooth microphone to podium microphone are available. However, there are always connectivity issues before each lecture. You know that universities' admin staff do not like to work. Particularly tech-support are the most useless people on earth. They spend 10 minutes generating a ticket before sending help. 15 minutes of tech support for every 90 minutes lecture is a nonsense. Hence, I bought freedom in the form of this amplifier and I am very pleased with my purchase.
