Extremely intuitive ROM platform for my GBA. Very easy to set up and the included instructions are perfectly clear on how to set everything up. Very glad I purchased this. The cartridge fits perfectly, and the SD card slot is easy to access or even remove while running the GBA, but is well placed enough that I'm not worried about accidentally popping it out. Feels very premium. The price is a bit steep but fair.

I'm in Southern California and this literally came overnight. Compare that to what I hear can be up to 45 days coming from Ukraine and this was easily worth the extra $25. I don't know if the $99 price on Krikzzz website even includes shipping so it might not have even been a $25 gap. Moving onto the product itself - genuine Everdrive GBA X5 Mini. You don't need to choose the other more expensive listing that has "X5" in the name, that's just a different seller trying to charge more for the same thing I got here. Great quality, spring-loaded microSD card slot, working battery and RTC functions tested in Pokemon Unbound (you just have to go into ROM settings and turn RTC on before starting game the first time. I assume this is to save device + cartridge battery in games that don't actually need it. In case anyone isn't sure, it will jut out the bottom of a DS lite and there is not a smaller "flush" sized case available. You have to get an EZ-Flash for that and there are some tradeoffs, I opted for the Everdrive instead. I really don't think I'll ever need to buy another one of these based on the premium quality of the one I have now, but if I do need a GBA flashcart in the future I'll definitely buy another Everdrive.

Functions great and easy to setup

I got this after being impressed with the GB X5 for my Game Boy Color. It's great, it runs everything from GBA games down to GB Color and original Game Boy games, and even has options for emulators for the Sega Master System and Game Gear, which also work. It takes some time to set up and instructions for doing so, especially for the emulators are hard to find online and aren't always right, but once you figure it out it's fine. For instance, the video I watched had you download the original version of Goomba for the old Game Boy. Don't do this, saving will not work. Instead, duplicate the file for Goomba COLOR and name one gb.gba and the other gbc.gba. The UI is pretty intuitive and you can sort your games however you want. Absolutely worth it for extending the life of your GBA. I've tested it in my original GBA, my GBA SP and my DS Lite.

I recently found my old Gameboy Advance SP and wanted to have a trip down memory lane... unfortunately, I had lost almost all of the games from my childhood. After countless hours of roaming through eBay and trying to find classic games, I quickly realized how expensive it was going to be. A friend recommended the EverDrive Mini X5 and I couldn't be happier! Not only am I reliving my childhood memories, but all of these great games are stored in one place, along with their save files! I have never used ROMs or Emulator software, but this device was super easy to set up and get going. I'd say less than 20 minutes for a newbie like me and even faster for experienced users. It does not come with any instructions, but there are plenty Youtube Videos that guide you step-by-step.

Bought for Analogue pocket works flawlessly better for for the pocket than an ezflash ODE

Good flashcart from krikzz! Missing some beloved everdrive features (cheat support,) but has low power draw compared to other flash carts.
