It works, it really works
Had a high pitched whine in my stereo after running my speakers through an amplifier and replacing my alternator. These took it away altogether. I run a four channel so I bought two, popped em on and instantly the noise was gone. Cannot recommend these enough of your issue is a ground loop causing a whine that changes with vehicle rpm.

Actually worked , Godsend
Thought I was doomed with my infinite ground loop. Tried all types of routing and rerouting on my Harley Road Glide radio and audio system. Tried this simple device out hoping for the best and voilà !!! groundloop magically gone completely!!! what took days to try and rid this device literally took seconds to solve the problem. I’m baffled. I’ll definitely keep one of these in hand for future audio hook ups.

It worked for me!
When my subwoofer rca was plugged into my dsp it would create a loud alternator whome through all my speakers but only when the sub rca’s are connected. Decided to give this lil guy a try and honestly it solved all of my problems. There is no more signal interference/whining/ hissing nothing coming from my speakers when using the SNI-1. Plugged it directly into my subwoofer amplifier rca input and the connected my rca’s. No more disturbing noise. This did not affect my bass either as some reviews said it would muffle or decrease the bass. It has done neither in my experience so far i havent noticed any loss in bass but then again i have alot so maybe the lil bass i lost isn’t noticeable. But overall if your experiencing a very loud whine/hiss or any signal interference give this a try and see if it works you. To my surprise it worked for me!

Does NOT work as advertised
Not filtering any noise, basically useless crap

It worked!
This removed my hum on my old system. So i added it to my new system on setup. It added a hum to my new system. Know this before you try to clean your lines that don't have a ground loop. It may not be as expected.

A mixed bag
Audio ground noise can be a difficult thing to troubleshoot, especially when it's in a computer: is it the audio cable? A shielding problem? Hard drive noise? Stray fan interference? Sometimes the place where there's a bad ground can be hard to find. On the one hand, this product is sturdy, well built, and looks like it would do the trick. On the other hand, the PAC SNI-1 Noise Isolator didn't solve my problem...but I can't tell you whether that's a failing of this unit because I suspect the problem lies outside the loop where I could apply this device. So I'd like to share my experiences in the hopes that it would help anyone else trying to run down a ground issue. I had two computers, one with MAJOR problems with noise. The PAC SNI-1 Ground Loop Noise Isolator did nothing on the worst machine. On the other machine, it slightly reduced the noise. Unfortunately, it was nowhere near the success that other folks here have apparently experienced. Whether I turned the volume to low levels (less current = less noise?) or high (drown out noise with actual sound?), there was no difference--still only a slight containment of the problem. In both cases, I did try to use the optional grounding wire. Whether I applied it on the chassis or another source of bare metal, the effect was unchanged. Just the same, this product is well built, its construction is of good quality, and it is cheaper than other similar products. Since it apparently *can* solve some problems, I will just say, if it works, it'll probably work well for you. If it doesn't, your problem may run deeper than the PAC-SNI-1 Ground Loop Noise Isolator can handle.

Fixed subtle engine noises without affecting sound quality
I just finished a massive stereo upgrade in my truck that included ripping out the ENTIRE interior, installing sound deadening materials and re-wiring everything. I installed a high-end touch screen head unit, component speakers up front, coax in back, wired up for a sub (to be installed later) and included an Infinity Reference Series amp. The first time turning it on I was so thrilled with the way it sounded! I spent a few hours tweaking and adjusting the inputs and levels to get it just right. What an upgrade to the factory system! Until I turned on the engine... All of the awesomeness disappeared in a flash when I heard the loud hiss and whirring noise in the background as soon as I started the engine. I felt like all my effort was for nothing... I pulled a bunch of things apart, testing various connections and ensuring that I had good grounds everywhere, etc. After a couple of hours of swapping cables and trouble-shooting (including testing voltages across various ground points, etc) I finally gave up and decided to "punt" and install ground loop isolators. These are usually a "last resort" because they typically attenuate the signal coming from the head unit and there is a discernible loss of sound quality in higher end systems. After a bit of research I decided on these PAC units - mostly because of positive results being reported, but also because of their reasonable price (some other units I considered were $50 each). They took just a few minutes to install to the head unit and I hesitatingly turned the stereo on (without the engine) expecting to hear a dramatic loss in sound quality. I was THRILLED to find that I could not tell the difference with the typical music I listen to (reggae, jazz, classic rock). I didn't even need to tweak to EQ to maintain the natural sound I had before. This seems to be one of those rare cases where the manufacturer's marketing hype actually seems true - they totally eliminated my engine noise without creating a discernible change in sound quality.

funktioniert :)
Bin sehr zufrieden !!

This is exactly what I was looking for
1. Excellent delivery- ordered Thursday received Monday! Kudos to seller to dispatch this ASAP 2. Works 100%- be sure to diagnose the issue first. I found that my head unit was giving a strange clicking noise when the engine was running in the front speakers but not rear. Put in the filter in between the head unit and amp and voila pure silence. No hiss no click nothing. In fact there used to be some strange clicks at times while driving even those have stopped. I recommend putting these in between your source and amps as it offers complete isolation and only the audio goes to the amp. Totally recommended. We spent a lot of time diagnosing this and had to come to a point where I was thinking about replacing my head unit but this saved me
