Black / Blue Survivor Case for iPod Touch (4th Gen)

VERY SLOW SHIPPING by Griffin. Ordered 5/24, received 6/4-last day of estimated shipping date. Never had anything I ordered through Amazon, even ones that are shipped from other companies, take so long. The case is very sturdy, just as advertised. It is a little bulky, so don't expect your ipod touch to look small. Your ipod will be well protected though. It is easy to get access to the ports for your ear phones, USB port, and camera. The belt clip, which I use and love, works great and is easy to get on and off. I wear my ipod with this case at the gym-I'm a female-on my pants. My pants almost all have ties at the waist-I add if they don't-but no belt or anything like that-and the pants stay on fine as does the ipod in this case. I don't do much keying in words or play games or anything like that, but if you do, you might not like this case. I find it hard to key in letters and symbols that are close to the edge of the ipod, the case gets in the way a little. I HAVE FAKE NAILS though so it may be find for people without fake nails. I can't use the tip of my fingers-which is why I don't have an iPhone or any other kind of touch screen phone. I have a phone with a key pad.

Bought this for my 11 year old son. My husband and I both have ipods with shattered screens, so we have learned the importance of protecting that screen! This case provides all-around protection, with a comfortable, easy to grip cover for the main body of the ipod, a removable, clear protective screen cover, and a removable belt clip that doubles as a stand. I took one star off because the screen cover does make the screen less sensitive (you have to press harder), but it doesn't seem to bother my son, and it's still preferable over a broken screen. The screen cover is relatively easy to remove, so you could take it off when playing a game and replace it afterwards if you wanted to.

LOVE IT! After buying a survivor case for my son's Kindle Fire I decided to replace both kids' IPod touch covers and I"m so glad I did! Previously we were using the Fisher Price cases since the provide good drop/throw protection for a reasonable price but these cases are soooo much better! I love that these cases provide a little more bulk which makes the ipod touch more toddler friendly without adding a lot more bulk like the FP cases. Plus using the clip as a stand allows us to put on a show or video and prop the ipod on the table (or airline tray table) for my 20 month old to watch a show without turning it off, throwing her ipod, etc. A life saver! My 20 month old has thrown her ipod a few times against our concrete floors without any damage. Best Case for small children in my opinion!

I've needed this for SO long.It's so hard to find a case for the Gen 4 iPods.This one works GREAT, and protects my iPod very well.The belt clip is the BEST.I'm SO happy with my purchase.I just wish they had it in ORANGE!

We purchased this for my 7 year old after getting him a used iPod 4th generation for Christmas. It functions well in terms of providing protection, and preventing the glass from shattering after dropping it (he's dropped it a few times on the tile floor already, and no scratches or cracks yet). It was very disappointing, however, to learn that the case prevents docking and charging on the iPod home products. We had to purchase an additional cord to run from the iPod home clock to the iPod itself. That is the only reason this has four stars instead of five.

It makes my ipod a bit bulky, plus I have to press harder in order to use the touch screen. It also takes some getting used to, for example figuring out how to access all of the ports. It does seem to offer good protection for the device though, and having just paid $150 to get the screen fixed I'm happy to have protection for the device.

This case is very nice, ,made well, good quality. really does seem to protect the ipod well from a good impact. The only issue I have with it is that in order to charge the ipod on the player/charger we have it is necessary to take it out of the case as it is too bulky to fit down on the charger correctly.

Great case for my 8 year old son. We were very pleased with the packaging, shipping time, and price. He is always sitting his iPod somewhere and losing it, so we love the clip. Also, the older case like this he has had a removable camera lens protector, which ended up lost. With this newer one, it isn't removable, you can pull it out and it swivels. So he won't be losing that again. It also seems to be smoother, so it goes in his pocket easier when he removes clip, and doesn't seem to collect so much lint as his older one.
