About two hours intoxicated install. Came with 3m adhesive and flimsy non-glass screen protector. Fired right up, every square inch of the screen works perfectly. Have a little white star in the screen, DEFINATELY user error, don’t think I put the screws in properly. Easy for me, probably difficult if you’ve never taken apart your TV remote when you were twelve or don’t understand how to be EXTREMELY cautious when disassembling electronics. Be sure to have a TINY screwdriver and a heat gun and an exacto blade. Watch the YouTube video and you should be fine. 10/10 would def recommend

Screen replacement is tricky. My first screen (from another seller) worked fine through testing but ended up with lines and pixels meaning some part was damaged. But I could have damaged it on install. With this one, I got it installed and it looked good, but the touch sense did not work along the right edge of the screen. It was unusable because I could not enter any letters on the right edge, which included part of the password to the phone. I gave up on the iPod at that point, so I did not contact the seller for a possible replacement. It is hard to tell human error from a defective product with this installation. So you have to take the feedback with a grain of salt.

As a developer for apps and tweaks for jailbroken and non-jailbroken iDevices, this review may help the skeptics with their purchase :)Well, when I first bought this product, I was a little skeptical myself because of a lot of hate screen replacements get. But when it came in, I was surprised by how well packaged the screen was! It came in a very protective cardboard box. I was disappointed when I saw a guitar pick instead of a plastic pry tool but it worked just as well. Replacing the screen was a hassle due to the Digitizer cable not wanting to stay in it's port. But after I finished assembly, the screen continued to worked as if it were the first screen!One month after purchase: The screen still works fantastic! Not any serious issues except for buggy touching at times but I feel that may have to do with the jailbreak applied to the system. A fantastic buy that people should definitely consider making if they want a quality screen for their iPod Touch 4G!

This is a well built screen, very official and clean. Didn't feel cheap or flimsy, however, it very difficult to replace. I say on a meter of difficulty from 9 to 10, it's about an 11, it took me three hours to clean the original broken glass, properly remove screws and metal plate and avoid all ribbons and carefully uplift the thin logic board when replacing the main lcd screen input, worth the outcome though :) 5 star product

I had recently purchased 3 ipod 4g touch screens to repair Ipods. I wish I was informed it came with tools because I ended up buying a tool set just incase I hadn't received one. The screens were in perfect condition and packaged nicely. The only problem I have is the adhesives. The screen works great but the adhesive would not keep a stick and there was not enough for the whole screen. Beyond that, great buy.

Adhesion was great, easy to install and value for the money

My hand slipped a little and broke the digitizer ribbon. Irreparable at this point, wasted $20 :(

Bought this one because it had better reviews, so I spent the extra money. Very disappointed. Put everything together correctly but the screen is defective. The whole bottom part of the touch screen does not work. Therefore I can't even use the iPod at all because I can't capitalize or use the space or return button. Don't waste your time, purchase somewhere else.
