Functionality, Quality, Accuracy and Value for money
Having waited for a while I bought Einhell 4300395 Dual Drag, Crosscut and Miter Saw TC-SM 2534/1 as soon as it became available. This affordable price drop for a professional quality product helped quite a lot. This is a good solid classic item which was excellently packaged contained the following accessories.3 instruction booklets,2 Allen Keys,Dust collecting bag,2 Side rests (Lifting handles)1 Work piece holder. This is a very solid looking item with a durability feel to it. Red Laser gives an accurate cut.Though dual tilt functions shows, +45 to - 45 Deg, I could only achieve 43 Deg on both sides. I will investigate & hopefully would be able to adjust the travel range at a later time. The +45 to - 45 Deg, scale was only a stuck on sticker but this could have been improved as a embossed scale, similar to the Red base turn table.By designing two slots to store the 2 Allen keys would be convenient for the user because they can be lost during transportation: another improvement. Hopefully Einhell design engineers with take note and design the next generation with the suggested changes. So far, I am very happy with the quality of the item, its functionality, features and the fast delivery pace by the courier.I highly recommend this product. Hopefully will buy again. Thank you.

Great unit
This has been used numerous times to cut , bevel and drop cut. It has been well worth the purchase price for the time and effort saved.Does what it says on the tin. A concern was the start mode as it lacks soft start and stop, but you acclimatise quickly and neither of these things proves to be an issue.Slight concern is the single handed function to drop the blade to the work, coupled with a light trigger action to start the blade. You can find yourself unwittingly starting the blade whilst releasing the drop lock. A couple of these actions and the awareness you can easily lose a finger or few makes you a lot more aware of your careless actions and you won't repeat it- hopefully!Despite this, no regrets about the purchase! A great buy.

Cheap mitre saw
Missing clamp and dust bag is broken.Instructions leave much to be desired and the pictures and labelling of the parts is not clear and not all parts are listed.Depth cut is inaccurate; it never stays at exactly the same level. Laser is lined up perfectly and cutswhere it shows. It isn’t heavy and it is easy to move about. It cuts hardwood and treated joists very fast and easily with the supplied blade. Leaves some tear off on back and bottom but this is easily remedied by putting another piece of wood under and behind the one you're cutting. I guess this is an issue for many saws. The lock, held in by a grub screw is impossible to use because the grub screw doesn’t do anything. This thing should push in to lock blade and stop it springing up but it is so tight that it has to be hammered in and out so it’s pointless. Grub screw isn’t needed because it is so tight. After using this machine to cut lots of 6 x 2, and hammering the lock blade button in and out, it now works perfectly. The locking button is no longer wedged.I was easily able to cut slices off a length of 6 x 2 less than 1mm thick. It does spark and smell but the instructions state that this is normal and nothing to worry about.I wish it could cut 4 x 4. It only cuts up to about 75mm deep but it's ok, I just have to turn the wood to cut all the way through. It's still not cutting dado slots evenly; the depths it cuts are inconsistent and I will keep trying to see what is causing this problem and hopefully get a fix soon. This seems to an issue with many mitre saws and people just finish it off with a chisel. Maybe I'll need to do that too.I also ordered new dust bag from Einhell and it was less than £4 but they don't seem to provide clamps so I ordered one from Amazon and I hope that's going to fit as I couldn't find an Einhell one.Overall rating has gone up from 2 stars to 4 stars now.Good value machine.I managed to find other clamps and got the dust bags and this works great now. It is also able to cut 4 x 4 timber without turning it if I put a small piece of wood behind, to bring the piece I'm cutting forward a bit. After much use I am very happy with this mitre saw. One small issue is that the laser isn't very bright and when cutting certain thicknesses of timber it isn't seen at all. the laser also gets blocked so frequently with sawdust and is a mission to unblock it. However, the laser is just a nice add-on and not vital. I have found it useful though as it is set pretty accurately.

Brilliant value for money.
I replaced my DeWalt saw for this one and have no regrets.......yet. the saw has more cutting angles left and right, and has more slide cut distance than many on the market. Easy to set up and use. It has a Lazer guide which really works. The dust collector bag is good although a little small for such a big saw, but I can forgive that as the saw was considerably cheaper than many other on the market of the same size and utility.Despite its size, it is easy to move and remarkable light for a saw that looks and is so sturdy and robust. Couple this with the mitre stand, best value for money I could find. A++ item.

Looked like a good piece of kit, but….
Bought and received in good time. Gave it the once over and most parts of it looked very nice and I was looking forward to using it. However I checked the cutting head angle adjuster for doing mitres and it was a stuck on piece of tape. The tape as you can see from the photos was all wrinkled and lifting off the body of the bracket. It was very flimsy at best and in that condition not what I wanted. I tried flattening it down but it simply popped out again. Saw went straight back. If the manufacturer spent 20p more on a plastic or better still a bit more on a metal graduated plate then I would have kept it. I bought a 2nd hand Bosch equivalent for the same money and that has been perfect.

Damaged
Bought product back in November but only unboxed last week. Some parts seem damaged and I wonder was this item already returned. The level is slightly off and will need adjusting also, I have used the saw now a few times and seems good. Just the fact it has some damage and marks as if it wasn't brand new.
