You could use it for travel
It appears to be operating correctly. It is a plug in wall unit, so you could use it for when you travel. It is convenient in that you don't need to screw it into a wall or ceiling, all you do is plug it into a wall outlet. Test button is operating correctly, and we have had no false alarms.

Last ones lasted 8 years before we got the ‘3 beep malfunction’ beep on one of them…
That signaled ‘time to just replace all of them. Fair price. Quick delivery. Happy with past product… hope for the same from these. Like the careful design that placed the plug prongs very close to the top edge of the unit, so that when it is plugged into a lower plug on a duplex receptacle, it doesn’t obstruct the upper plug.

Easy installation
Just plug it in and you're good to go. These last for several years and will chirp when at the end of their lifespan so you can replace. We're on our second set and will continue to purchase these as needed.

Great for travel.
Bought this for use at AB&B’s. Easy to install and remove - simply plug it in! Light weight and easy to throw in my luggage. Would recommend for anyone staying at a location without an alarm for safety and piece of mind.
