Works great, easy to use!
I was super impressed by the package. Everything you can possibly need to connect was included, along with simple and clear instructions. I had it up and running in minutes after downloading the software. Very impressive!

When you've got a collection of VHS tapes with precious family memories on them yet haven't owned a VCR in over a decade your options are few. VCRs are legitimate collector's items these days and those who own them seem to know it and charge accordingly. This package was both reasonably priced and included everything needed to digitize all those tapes. You will have to download some software, and I found the HDMI connector to be a little finicky at times (so I'm not sure I'd recommend it for the completely uninitiated) but the end results are totally worth it!

VCR OK, Software and Transfer USB worked once, but no sound
So, I buy the "bundle". VCR OK, software and USB converter worked once with no sound. Spent too much to get too little.UPDATE: 5-11-24 VCR quit. Refurbished? Baloney. Walk away from this seller. Need a VCR? Go to Goodwill, that's what I did. $9.00 and it works fine.

Panasonic or not
This would have gotten a 5 star review other than the fact that the VCR that showed up was NOT a Panasonic but something called a Funai. I have never heard of the brand Funai... However, it has been quite a work horse and has worked flawlessly. Satisfied with the VCR but still disappointed that it was not the correct name brand as advertised!

I would buy from this company again!
This company pays very close attention to ensuring the product arrives in the most perfect condition they can offer!I was pleasantly surprised how well everything was wrapped and protected in the box! Although the vcr was one year older than the one I already own it was very clean looking, it works well also. The accessories are coming in handy too! A+

Great Kit
I am finally transferring all my vhs tapes to digital format so the whole family can access them, this Kit had everything I needed , VCR works great and the capture software is working great , I had to google the settings , I think I have a good setup now .

The VCR works, the rest of the bundle is up to debate
I initially bought this bundle because it was a budget-friendly way to get a VCR after my old one bit the dust. The VCR works, but that's all the good I can say for the bundle. The USB conversion capture device is horrible. It worked very well for about a half hour of recording, but then the audio got choppy before dropping out completely. If I had done my homework before buying this bundle, I might have noticed that the USB device had received very poor ratings in the past. As such, I'm keeping the VCR, tossing the capture device and looking again for another solution. I just cannot recommend this bundle if you're hoping for a good conversion of your old beloved media.
