Is this a soft sweater?

Yes, it is soft and comfy. It is an open weave so it is not as warm or as soft as cashmere or similar material. I love mine! I also ordered in white but I was unable to get the wrinkles out. I was afraid to try a warm iron since white would easily show scorching. I returned the white but kept the pink.
