Summer Total Coverage Car Piddlepad

Love the Piddle Pad. It has saved us from having to wash the car seat cover so many times. Only problem is that sometimes it leaks where the hole is for the seat buckle to come through.

I am not entirely sure how to rate this device, but I know why we bought it: as a protective surface for our child's car seat, in the event of any sort of various and sundry accidents (i.e. Involving bodily humors, or fluids). While we expected this to protect against primarily urine, instead, its first test was against vomit.The pad did its job: protected the seat from baby barf (and its dreaded odor), was easy to remove (even saturated with chunky vomit), was machine washable, and was promptly back in service.Protect my car from vomit, and aid in clean up from even the worst accident? Five stars, thank you.

I purchased 3 carseat liners to test them myself. The Britax Seat Saver Waterproof liner, the Summer Infant total coverage car piddlepad and the Summer infant deluxe piddle pad. I put them on our high chairs, poured 1/4 cup water on each of them and waited 5 minutes to see what would happen. The Britax soaked in all the water, but the bottom side was totally dry. The Summer infant deluxe piddle pad came in 2nd, while it soaked in some of the water some stayed beaded up on top of the fabric. None leaked through the bottom. Finally, the Summer total coverage piddlepad came in last. None of the liquid soaked through, it all stayed beaded up on top. So if it was urine, taking a kid out of the seat it would have run all over and still made a mess. No liqud soaked through the fabric so I can't really say if the bottom liner is waterproof or not. We are returning both summer piddle pads and purchasing more of the Britax for both of our cars.FYI if you are considering the summer piddle pads, they are exactly the same size (though one advertises extra large waterproof protection). The same pattern is used to make both pads. The Britax has the most coverage out of all 3 models. I hope that helps!

I love these so much that I have purchased 3 times! I keep clean ones in the car for accidents and just swap them out if I need to. They machine wash and dry with no issues. The only problem I have had is that there is an occasional leak through where the buckle hole is. I think that’s unavoidable and not at all design flaw.

I couldn’t live without this pad! We have two in case there’s an accident while on the go. It prevents any and all liquids from getting though to the car seat cushions making for a very easy clean up. Toss in the washer/dryer and back into the car seat. A must for all new parents!!

If you’ve ever had a diaper blowout, you NEED to get this. Saves all the trouble of taking a car seat or stroller apart to clean.A lifesaver for the inevitable diaper blowout! If you haven’t hadn’t one yet, you will. Get this, and then thank me later.

It’s a headache to keep it in place when trying to put the child in, but it does protect the seat if the child has an accident.-Graco4ever5-point harness setup, is the car seat we’re using it on. May work better with the booster setup later on, or on other car seats.

These are great at keeping accidents out of the car seat! Only issue is that they do seem to make my daughter hot, but it’s summer so not much we can really do about it. Anything else we have tried doesn’t work as well as these!

Vale muito a pena. Minha filha está em fase de desfralde e as vezes quando dorme na cadeira ainda tem escape. De fato protege a cadeira. No nosso caso molhou a capa e a almofada. A cadeirinha e o carro ficaram secos. Coloquei tudo na máquina e questão resolvida.
