Overall really pleased with the purchase. I had a few teething problems with some earlier firmware versions but as a new company I was expecting some issues as I bought it when it first came out. I now couldn't be happier with the device. I found any issues I had the support was amazing and they offered a call almost straight away to help. I like the fact that you get suggested new artwork and the quality of the images is really good. A lot of my friends had no idea it was a digital frame until I told them.

Had a manufacturing issue with the first frame but support was fantastic and quickly rectified this. Setting up was easy and it updated the firmware through the accompanying app. Replacement unit looks great in brighter settings, this kind of technology can struggle to maintain looking like a real canvas/print in the dark due to backlighting but this may be down to my individual frame. The image is fantastic and really pops in the daytime. Artsense technology uses a sensor to determine the lighting and adjusts the image accordingly but this can be overruled and manual settings are also available so that fine tuning the image can be achieved. Personal photos also stand out and the HD image from the typical viewing distance is sharp and again, looks great.

I've had my Canvia on the wall for over a year now, and I'm really pleased with the look of it. The way it adjusts to the ambient light works well; when the lights go off so does my Canvia! Being able to show a different picture every day keeps up interest and lends itself to really studying artwork, instead of getting so used to it it's not seen any more. I love it.However, the software is awful. I never managed to get the App working on my Mac. The website is badly laid out and not at all intuitive. Uploading is a one-at-a-time job, and after an hour attempting to delete a playlist I just gave up. If only Canvia would update its software it could be five stars, but I'm sorry to say it's three stars from me.

I bought this to display photos despite some poor reviews as there are few electronic photo frames available of this size, however it is really designed to sell you, or rent you the art that Canvia pushes towards you. The is quite an eclectic range of art but nothing particularly famous. If you want to discover new artist and artists there are far better ways of doing it. You can connect with the device via and app on your phone or compute. neither of which are at all intuitive. There is an online manual which explains only the very basics, leaving you with a lot to try to figure out yourslef via trial and error. There is help available via email with agin is very basic. Mine constantly loses the wifi connection meaning you have to reset it. It doesn't seem to work at all without a wifi connection. There are some USB and other connections which I saw on the photos which made me assume you could upload directly. I couldn't get these to work and when I spoke to the helpline they told me the software doesn't not work with these yet. Seems like a product that has been rushed into service without proper testing and completion.
