This was a super simple solution for draining my air tank. Thought I would give it a try since it was pretty inexpensive. Installed it in about fifteen minutes. It will instantly drain any water buildup from the bottom of your tank. Kind of surprised I hadn't thought of it before now.

This works great if you have a lot of water build up in your tank. I was tired of having to turn over my compressor just to turn the valve, so this ready saves a lot of time and works extremely well. I should have bought one years ago!

Now the drain is easy to reach! It is GREAT not to have to crunch down on my knees to do a regular drain of the compresser tank, and (BONUS) you will do this MORE OFTEN because it requires so little effort.And here's a TIP: Put a small neodymium magnet on the side of your tank to keep the end of this hose even easier to reach; the terminal end of this hose just magnetic enough to keep it snug.

Didn’t know these existed and found it by accident. Stock petcock was so difficult I always forgot to drain the tank. This made it simple. Easy install. Part threads are presealed. Everything you need. Simple. I drilled my base and attached the valve so it is stationary

This is not ready to use, must check all fittings and reapply thread tape. Fittings were loose, causing leak. Tightened but still leaks. Scraped the pre applied red sealant, and applied the black FASTape teflon, still leaks. Will update when i fix the leak.Update: Fixed the leaks. Had to tighten the inner sleeve on the ball valve. Replaced all the pre apllied red thread sealant with black FASTape. Added a star. Good now.

It’s much easier to drain my air compressor’s tank now with this drain valve and hose-wish I had purchased it a long time ago!

made a small bracket to fit the tap to compressor leg, now no more bending down trying to find the drain valve.

Easy to install, working as expected. Would buy again.

A perfect kit. My problem was that I didn't take into account the length of the fittings so was unable to use it.The quality of the stainless braid was excellent (wonder who supplies that exact quality hose as I would love to buy just the hose by itself, better than hoses I've purchased elsewhere).All the fittings have the high-pressure sealant already on them, but for extra security they throw in a roll of teflon tape too.Recommended, just make sure you factor in the fitting lengths too, 10 inches isn't 10 inches once you go fitting plus hose plus fitting, my bad in my case, but just a headsup.
