Simple and effective mounting plate
Small Rig makes some outstanding products. I routinely use them with my DJI Ronin-SC for mounting a Atomos Ninja V external recorder. This specific mount allowed me to simplify my configuration. Simple plate but great addition to mounting options.

This is unnecessary if you are purchasing the "SMALLRIG Adjustable Camera Monitor Mount-BSE2386"
The item works perfectly, but it's just unnecessary if you are purchasing the arm I attached above for your gimbal. The arm comes with one already. :-)

Works well on RS2 too
Works well on RS2 too, but you have to shorten mounting screws by 1/16th of an inch

It is a good fit to the DJI ronin s . But I feel that it is overpriced.
