china...i like these bowls and plates. sturdy construction and soft colors. useful for an old lady i have used them in the microwave and i am still alive.

Very nice bowls

These bowls are especially nice for oatmeal in the microwave, but I use them for many things. They're beautiful and sturdy. Scraping a spoon in the bowl can cause light scratches but nothing to really be worried about.
