can you fold this in half and sew it, or is it too thick?

We prefer to use it one layer but you can fold and sew it. It is soft and appropriate for sewing.

Do have the color gray in the 1 1/2 inch size? I see it pictured, but I can't choose that color.

Cotton webbing purchased for hand made bags

Feels like good quality cotton strapping. Thick and sturdy. I haven't used it yet but the color and size are as described.

Burn test approved

Passes the burn test! 🔥 it’s cotton like it says which is good. I do wish the color were a little more accurate, I had hoped the “natural” would be a bit lighter and less gray-ish but still works great and seems nice and strong for making tote bags. Just make sure you finish your edges so it doesn’t unravel!
