RCA Universal AC Adapter-AH3WH

This little charger was exactly what we needed. We bought a battery powered MP3 portable speaker and needed a charger for it. Right price, and works perfectly. I like that we can use it for other devices, given all the tips that came with it.

I purchased this product BECAUSE it was pictured right next to the RCA CD PLAYER. I assumed one of the tips would fit the jack so that I could connect it to the electrical outlet and and conserve battery use ..WRONG!!!!! . This is deceitful marketing and and AMAZON should be on top of false marketing like this . This adapter is sold and recommended alongside the RCA cCD PLAYER... that is wrong to do and is steering consumer to beleiving that it will work with the RCA CD PLAYER 9 which it does not fit)very diappointed !!!! DO NOT BUY BECAUSE NONE OF THE TIPS WILL FIT THE RCA CD PLAYER ......this is not universal !

I am impressed with this adapter. It enables you to adjust the voltage output, and has different sized attachments to ensure proper fit to your electronic device! Great product, I am very satisfied with this *gadget.* Sorry, I am not electronically savvy, so I don't know the proper words for the bits.

The RCA adaptor is OK but a little complicated to put together to use. I had expected to just plug the adaptor into the device and then into the outlet and it does not work that way!

I'm ordering another one right now! The instructions to set the polarity and voltage were easy enough. It took all of 2 minutes to read the instructions, pick the right adapter tip, attach it with the correct polarity and the CD player worked perfectly without batteries. I have a very old cordless phone system, and one of the power adapters failed, so now I'm ordering another of these RCA universal adapters to replace it. The only reason I did not give it 5 starts was the price. It was not totally excessive, but it would have to have cost less to get that 5th star and when I say price, I mean total price, including shipping. Never the less this was the least expensive universal adapter I found. I would definitely recommend it. Make sure you read the instructions for setting the polarity correctly.

Bought it; was completely happy and overjoyed that it worked perfectly--- several months passed and "zap". It suddenly died. Not so happy anymore.

My cat has chewed up about $80 worth of AC adapter cords, so I was very glad to find this item. I was having difficulty finding replacement adapters which fit my phone, lamp, etc. This kit comes with so many different configurations that choosing the correct tip was easy. Now if I could just keep the cat from chewing these!!

I was delighted that another reviewer said this product worked for their Sony Shower Radio/CD Player. I confirm that it does have the right link and I am no longer wasting battery after battery. I cannot comment further because that was my sole need. So I am delighted that one problem is resolved.
