Burt's Bees Avocado Butter Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment, Sulfate-Free - 4.34 Ounce Bottle

Oh how I wish this was a bigger bottle... Yep that would be my one and only bad thought about this product. This is really amazing, fantastic, wonderful, and holy softness!Alright let me start with when I first tried this I followed the directions as they said, I fell in love it helped my hair BUT I thought maybe I could leave it on longer as I believe it says (don't quote me, I already used it all but will be ordering more asap) so I did just that. The second time I did e 30 minutes, oh man it made my hair even softer. Third time I put it in for 1 hour though I did have to spray my hair once to keep it wet but the results was perfect. It made my hair feel so soft and manageable.Listen if your hair is frizzy and feels course and dead, get this. Try it like I did and see how it works for you, it $8 what do u have to loose? Other products you were just looking through was more money and idk how they work, but I have never loved a hair care product as much as this to stand behind it as I do this.

This would be a great product for styling rather than as a pre-shampoo treatment. I have used this product for some years now for after-shampoo styling, preferring it to other products marketed for men. So, I was sad to learn that Burt's Bees had discontinued it. I have written to Burt's Bees to suggest that they re-brand it as an after-shampoo styling product. They responded and thanked me for the suggestion, but I don't know if they will take me up on it. So, this is my one-person campaign to get Burt's Bees to bring this product back!

This pre-poo is great to have . If your are not a heavy mixtress. But I wish they would minus the rosemary. But, rosemary can cause complication in pregrancy. I also was afraid rosemary would cause hair loss. But alot of products contain rosemary in it. I researched the definite fact rosemary aids in healthier hair so they say. The other factor that I don't really like about the product it seems to straighten my natural hair. I mean it softens my hair as a pre-poo when I wash with my shampoo bar. I see my natural curls. I just wish this product was made with everything but rosemary. Good to have but it's best to be a mixtress. Only for people who dont have all the time.

When I first strated using this somehow I missed the part of the directions that read "wet hair thoroughly" so not sure if I got the most benefit from the product, but I liked it enough that now I am on my second tube. The tube is quite narrow and to saturate your entire hair requires you to use quite a bit, but you will get up to 5 uses from tube for medium length hair, providing you actually wet your hair and comb product through. The fragrance doesn't bother me at all and I think it helps my hair especially if it is dry, overstyled or color-treated. I also think that it gives my hair extra shine. I don't use this every week but definitely a few times a month.

I really wish there was a larger tube of this because I went through it in only three uses (I also have hair that goes down to my collar bones)!I definitely noticed the difference in my hair after using this as my hair felt much softer than usual.Even though it suggests it on the bottle, I don't think I would recommend using it as a styling product for your hair as the product can leave your hair tinged green even after letting it sit for awhile. Don't worry, the green rinses out easily!I would definitely repurchase this!

I bought this as an add on, looking for something to put moisture back in my hair after a long illness. The illness and medication dried it out beyond repair I thought. I am healthy now and off my medication for over a year, but still could not find anything to repair my hair until now. This stuff is amazing! It's all natural and my hair never looked so good. After one application, it was back to the shimmer I was hoping for months ago. I love all Bert's Bees stuff and thrilled to find this. I find myself running my hands through my hair just enjoying how soft it is now.

I didn't think the hair treatment was anything special. I followed the directions completely and even left it in for over an hour. It has a nice aromatic property to it while you're waiting, which is a nice bonus. After I shampooed, my hair felt much softer and smoother. I noticed when my hair was dry that it had noticeably more shine and luster. I still feel that for the price it wasn't that great. Plus, after a few washes my hair didn't seem any different than it was before. I probably would've given it 3 stars; however, I received a tube of 4.34 oz. when I only paid for the 4 oz. tube. Honestly, you're probably better off spending your money elsewhere.

I have long, coarse hair, and a lot of it. I've kept it short most of my life because I cannot deal with the tangles when it's past my shoulders. I bought this in the hopes that it would help me manage my now-mermaid-length mane, and I have not been disappointed. It leaves my hair so soft and manageable, I think it might be witchcraft. It's also great as a style aid to help tame the jerkish little frizzies that happen in the summer humidity, and the smell is fantastic. This is one of the few conditioners/hair treatments I have ever used that works in a way that is both noticeable and undeniable.

the hyper for this one was NOT real. I wasn't impressed at all and ended up giving it to my sister! I love pre-shampoo treatments and since they are hard to come by i was really excited about this one. On the plus side: it smells really good!

El producto se siente bien en mi pelo al momento de aplicarse pero tan pronto lo lavo con mi shampoo regular, de acuerdo a las instrucciones, el efecto acondicionador disminuye :(

I have been using this as a style oil for years and it’s still the best thing I’ve found. It’s thick, so out weighs down frizzy hair and clumps the curls together. I highly recommend this product and hope burts bees never stops selling it!

Sirve para peinar y por ser de origen natural lo puedo usar en niños en lugar de gel con químicos. Llevo dos compras.
