Master Plumber Side Mount Toilet Flush Lever, Toliet Handle, For Eljer Brand Toilets

The handle on my Eljer toilet broke, and like many other reviewers, I bought one of the inexpensive "universal" levers. After fighting with it for an hour, I gave up and came to Amazon, which is what I should have done in the first place.This lever was installed and working in under a minute. It was an exact copy of the one that broke so I didn't have to cut it or bend it in any way. I have been in the house for 12 years and this was the first time I had to replace it, so it seems to last a long time. The hardest part of installation was determining at what length to hang the chain. But again, it took me less than a minute to install.I would not waste your time or money on the universal levers.

After having many issues with the replacement levers from the big box stores, I found this lever that was advertised as being appropriate for Eljer toilets. I took out the crummy big box failure and this installed within two minutes, fit perfectly and flushed perfectly. Fast and works. What more could you want.

Works very well. Installation was as instructed. Really like the chrome handle. It truly looks better than the white plastic which was standard to the original fixture. We have 2 other fixtures of the same model and will not hesitate to replace them if and when necessary with the Master Plumber.ABS

It fits fine and works as advertised. Most of these say they are "universal". They aren't. After you go through all kinds of time and trouble trying to bend it to do the job, they still don't work. This is purpose made to work on end mount toilets and it does right out of the box. Kudos. If you have a toilet that has an end mounted flush handle, don't fool around trying to adapt one made for front mount handles. Buy this one.

I have an Eljer Titan toilet and the handle finally gave out after 7 years of use. I found this handle and it has the same flush mechanism as the "OEM" Eljer handle. So I could not find this side mount lever in white so I purchased the chrome and painted white with a can of rustolieum spray paint. It really came out perfect you can not tell it has been repainted. Aslo. The lever was too long and would hit the tank refill tube in in the middle of the tank so I trimmed about 3 inches off and it does not make contact anymore.

My husband wishes he would have purchased an original Eljer part.First of all, the arm is about two inches too long. He had to cut this off or it would have hit the little fill hose in the toilet. The lever and rod are very sloppy and are not the best of quality.The bottom line? This works, but my husband is not quite sure how long this replacement part will last. This is a bit over priced for the quality. He will purchase a Eljer part. Our NEW Master Plumber Side Mount Lever CRACKED and is in the trash. There are only the two of us here and we have another bathroom so this toilet doesn't get a heavy work out or flushings. WHAT A RIP OFF. The same cheap quality item is available at your big box stores for half the price.Don't waste your money.Thanks.

Works well and not too hard to fit. Not quite as posh as the handle it replaced.update: broke after 3.3 years, I hoped for better.

All expectations were completely meet with my order.
