Some background before the review: I've never had great skin. I've had moderate acne since I was 10, and I've tried a variety of things to clear it up. Finally, I was prescribed birth control and a few months of Retin-A to clear up body acne. For those of you that don't know, Retin-A can be really harsh on skin and make your skin super sensitive, so I avoided using it on my face for awhile. Eventually, I did start using the tiniest amount on my face a few times a week. This along with the birth control seemed to clear up my skin. However, with more frequent use, it started making my skin really sensitive, but I continued to use it. Huge mistake. Using Retin-A along with a salycilic acid wash and no sunscreen caused the skin on my face to burn. This was at the beginning of winter in Colorado, so my skin ended up drying out severely. I couldn't even put lotion on my face without it burning terribly. I was forced to stop using face wash, and I started to develop acne again probably from all the dry skin. I eventually started using jojoba, Aryan, and tea tree oil on my face, which cleared up some of the acne and fixed the dryness, but I was left with horribly clogged pores and so many red spots from pimples. My skin was awful.One night, being completely appealed and depressed by all the marks on my face, I went to the store and bought whatever looked like it might help my skin, which happened to be this. I applied it that night without anything else, and noticed a huge difference in my skin tone in the morning. My skin was still awful, but looked more even and youthful. I've been using this most nights since that night for the past 9ish months.Things to note:1. This product takes time. It will not magically erase all your marks in a few nights.2. While it doesn't completely fade you marks with a few uses, I think it definitely speeds up the process versus using no product.3. Make sure to use sunscreen with this product as vitamin c makes skin sensitive to the sun.4. The bottle looks really small, but it lasts a long time. I just barely started my third bottle.5. The product is slightly sticky after it dries, but I don't mind it since it's used at night.Overall, if you are struggling with acne marks, I definitely recommend this product. It is even more effective when paired with the garnier vitamin c lotion or a vitamin c serum for the day.

My 56 year old face is fair and ultra sensitive with sun damage, chin rosacea, and multiple milia, no real wrinkles yet. Pillowcase friction regularly causes breakouts. After reading reviews, I used this Clearly Brighter Overnight peel three days in a row with no ill effects other than a streak of scorching where it spread too thickly down the delicate skin of one side of my throat (an experiment - my neck otherwise looked fantastic and felt satiny). On the first facial attempt though, one large puffy spot and two smaller ones from attempted milia removal (as one does) served as the battleground. To my surprise, all three were markedly reduced the next morning and flat/barely pink the second morning, with some milia drying up, others still there but flattened. Hunh. My skin feels luxuriously supple upon the peel's removal, which I follow with Garnier's Moisture Rescue (seemingly high alcohol content but works well with the peel). I am pleased and plan to continue using both products, just not every day. I can't say for sure the peel will remove all the milia but changes definitely have occurred. With increased use, this dynamic duo may turn out to be exactly what I've hoped for at affordable pricing.

I had the old version where the bottle was a little smaller and that worked wonders for me. With the upgraded version (this) I wasn’t sure if any ingredient differences would affect my skin but it was about the same and worked just as good. I put it on at night after moisturizing and wake up with even unblemished skin. I’ve been doing this for about two years and I lost all my acne scars like it legit works !!! Just be patient and consistent with your routine. I do notice it’s running out faster than the original so I’m thinking the plastic looks bigger but it’s the same small amount of OZ.

Unfortunately I don’t feel as though I can accurately review this. The bottle arrived in the cardboard box. The box wasn’t sealed, ripped at the edges, just seemed like it had been in a basement for a very long time. The bottle was not sealed either and it wasn’t completely full so who knows. Nonetheless I will still try it and give another review soon.

I purchased with with my own money; this is NOT a paid review.I use Instanatural Vitamin C Skin Clearing Serum nightly on my face and neck, but I wanted something a little stronger for a once a week peel to help deal with sun damage from childhood (I'm currently 31). This works very well for that. I use it once or twice a week on my face, neck, and décolleté and it has significantly improved texture and reduced the redness that I (and many other women with sun damage) have on my chest. My freckles are lighter and appear smaller, and my cleavage wrinkles have disappeared.When first using, I had a few very short term small breakouts on my cheeks that resolved themselves within two days. This is, in my understanding, normal for the first few uses of a product like this. It also causes a small amount of flaking on my chest if I forget to use it for a week and then start again. Again, this is to be expected. The first time I used it I experienced a gentle tingling sensation; my partner found it almost uncomfortable, but not unbearable. I have fairly sensitive skin, so I was surprised when I quickly adjusted to the product. I'll be buying more when I finish this bottle.

I have freckles from the sun , and sometimes they are too pronounced on my face. I use this overnight and it really lightens them and gives my skin a brightness. See results in 2 uses. With continued use it makes my skin even clearer. A bit sticky but well worth it for the results it gives. Do use moisturizer after uses because after a few uses tends to dry the skin. Well worth the price!

I’m editing my initial review. I used the product the day after microdermabrasion and it really made my skin sting. I’ve since tried this again (and again and again) and I’m giving it a solid 5 stars. It leaves my skin very moisturized and very soft the next morning. My night time routine now consists of just retinol a every other night, and this peel in between and my skin feels amazing.
