I've used this a few times now and it works really well. Covered both gas jets fine but it did need to be set carefully so it didnt slip off our pan holder frame. First attempt wasn't amazing but passable as it hadn't been seasoned enough times and I don't think I had it hot enough to really sear the smash burgers. The grease trap around the edge works well and coped with the 20% fat beef. Although you still need to take care that the flame doesnt catch the grease. The griddle is perfectly sized for 4 smash burgers. Now I understand how hot it needs to be burgers flip easily when they're ready to go and clean up is minimal, with thorough drying and reseasoning a must. The only challenge is as the cast iron is quite gritty it can pull at certain cloth fibres or paper towel when trying to buff oil over the surface. I've used a tea towel to good effect and then run it through the wash. I haven't flipped it yet to the ridged griddle side but I have another well seasoned pan for this.

I purchased this product & it was delivered very quickly indeed & was well packaged. I immediately cleaned it as per the included instructions & then re seasoned it. I then used it on the ridged side to cook pork marinated with honey & dark soy sauce. The food cooked perfectly & didn’t stick at all. However the marinade did stick (as expected). So I mixed together coarse salt, bicarbonate of soda, lemon juice & water. Poured it into the griddle plate & re heated until the water was boiling. I left it for 10mins & then used a wooden spatula to dislodge the remaining stuck marinade. I rinsed the pan which was now completely clean, dried over the heat source & then re seasoned it with vegetable oil. No baked on food & no sign of any rust indeed it looks better than when I unpacked it. Excellent chef quality product 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Used this only the once this evening to do a small batch test run before the big party! Worked great on our Nexgrill Gas BBQ which we got from Costco. Very heavy but excellent for sturdiness, my wife could just about lift it. Made some lovey smash burgers and really does heat up quick. Washed by hand after and seasoned with some olive oil and it’s like just new again. Not sure how long it will last looking new but overall a fantastic buy indeed and great for indoors and outdoors. You won’t be disappointed.

Bought this item with great expectations from reading the reviews. We had it delivered and used it within a couple of days. Oh my, what a disappointment!! The steak we cooked on the side with the grooves stuck almost immediately and basically ended up as what can only be described as burger meat. Tried chicken a few days later and got the same result. We persevered and thought that the flat side might be the way to go. Cooked ok, but I thought the house was on fire there was that much smoke. For the money, it’s not really worth it and if it wasn’t so much, I’d have binned it. We still use it, but only because we feel we have too.
