It was the part I needed
Delivery was quick, and the item was well packaged. Often, when you order a replacement item for something older, it takes some fiddling to get it to fit. Not with this. Simple five minute job.

Seems solid, some fitment issues
Looking for a metal, solid unit to replace a crumbled plastic OEM unit on my 2008 Jayco 24RKS travel trailer. The OEM support arms had a part number not recognized on the Carefree site, so I took a chance on visual and measurements presented for the product. OEM part had 2 screw holes, the replacement had 4 holes. I did not want to drill more holes, so I used the 2 side holes only.All went well, but the horizontal plane of the side holes is about 1/2 inch off. Too far to fit, but too close for re-drill, (weakened wood). The existing roof bracket is critical for "hard lock", so I had to move the stop nut, (crown not), down 2 notches. Unit too low there, so have to remember to notch it up about 9/10 of a notch and let gravity hold it before stowing. A workaround would be to grind a notch in the bottom of the upper slider for the crown nut to fit into, or forget the side holes and drill the top and bottom holes.

They work awesome in this capacity
We bought these to use mounted on the deck of the camper, so that when we open the awning, we can disconnect the rails from the camper and click them into these brackets on the deck to avoid have that diagonal rail on each end of the awning and create more of a 'room' feeling. They work awesome in this capacity. We used lag bolts/washers to attach them to the deck. Super easy to operates as the rail 'pops' right down into them without having to bend, and when you want to remove them to reattach to the camper, just use your toe to push the lever down and pull them out. These have made our awning more of a pleasure than a dread!

Replacement because the pin this rotates on broke.
No way to repair the old one the way they are made. Also doubled in price from the first time I bought them.
