When I saw this case, I liked what I saw on Amazon site and as I read the feedback on here, I thought some were happy and some were unhappy. I wanted to see for myself if it was good or bad. In my honest opinion, I am very disappointed with the case. For the kind of cost I pay for this almost $40.00 for a case, you'd expect to have something strong and reliable. Unfortunate, the case is not able to protect the phone. When I put in my new Lumia 950 XL in this case and the very first drop from my pocket, the glass broke on the phone. The case is supposed to protect the phone but this case failed to do so. I would advise other people to look elsewhere because whilst this case looks nice, it is inferior and not able to protect your phone. The cover cannot close and when the phone is dropped, the case will open allowing the glass to hit the floor resulting in damaged glass. Buy esle where not this one

The case itself looks quite nice and adds a bit of class to a rather bland device. However, the unit I received had several problems: a significant blemish in the leather that I wouldn't expect on a $40 case (perhaps a tick bite on the cow that produced the leather?), the bottom right corner of the case would not stay clipped on to the phone, and the clip to keep the phone cover closed was so tight that each time I opened or closed it I was worried I would rip the screen off of the device. It actually scratched the plastic side of the phone a bit. Minor defects aside, the design of this clip is enough to steer clear of this case. If you're looking for a premium case for this premium phone, I would look elsewhere.I had to return my own and hope to find something better.

Great fit and finish, leather looks and feels fantastic. I had previously used a Stilgut case on my Lumia 929 "Icon" which I loved and this does not disappoint! It adds minimal bulk to an already large phone while adding a feeling of classic style that was definitely lacking on the original device (I have one where the removable plastic cover creaks a bit). I have no need for credit card slots and pockets to make this 5.7" phone any larger in my pockets, but wanted something that provided complete device protection. If I had to nit pick, my only criticism so far would be that the leather back extends beyond the back of the phone at the volume and power buttons, making these harder to press at times than without a case. This is something I've adjusted to after just a day or two, but leaves me wishing that this device supported double tap to wake like previous Nokia Lumias....but not a fault of the case! If you're looking for a premium case and don't have the patience to wait for a Mozo version to come off of back order, this is the case for you!

I only had the flip case for a couple of weeks, but it seems to work well and it even works with the Seneo Qi Charger. I was initially going to go with the book style cover due to the fact the book style has a more solid side attachment compared to the two straps on the flip. However, it only made sense for me to get the flip since I put the phone in my pant pocket. The book version might have been pushed askew after numerous insertions into a pant pocket.The case itself is worth the price if it last as long as I expect it to last. There was no problem with the leather itself and the coloring was perfect! The cover seals very well if you use the original back of the Lumia 950 XL. If you use another back cover (I have the Mozo Microsoft Lumia 950 XL Qi Wireless Charging Back Cover Case with NFC - Cognac/Silver), it may not close quite flush.

Case has good fitment; provides good protection without making the phone feel too unwieldy and can put in a front pocket if desired. The back part that covers the lens protrudes enough to keeps the lens protected, case feels good in the hand and easy to bend cover back while holding the phone to make calls, etc. Not sure if it supports wireless charging, have not tried that yet. But if you are looking for a nice leather case that is not big and bulky this is a good buy!

Ich hatte zuerst eine Hülle von Hama, die für das Lumia 950XL das einzige war, das man am Anfang kaufen konnte. Die war aber sehr dick und hat das Smartphone mindestens doppelt so dick gemacht, war mäßig gut verarbeitet und sah auch nicht besonders prickelnd aus... (okay... war auch günstiger und schnell verfügbar, also schon okay).Die Hülle von Stilgut hier ist dagegen wirklich von hoher Verarbeitungsqualität, sieht hochwertig aus und sitzt super... und ganz wichtig: Sie trägt wirklich nur wenig auf, macht aber trotzdem den Eindruck guten Schutz zu bieten (dank Kunststoff-Kern ummantelt von weichem Leder denke ich... aber ausprobiert hab ich das absichtlich natürlich noch nicht...).Wer also für das Lumia 950 XL eine Book-Flip-Cover-Hülle sucht, kann bedenkenlos zugreifen. Die Alternative dazu wäre ein Mozo-Hülle, die es aber leider nur als Klebehülle beim Book-Flip-Typ gibt... leider stellt wohl auch Mozo keine Battery-Cover-Book-Flip-Hüllen her (also solche, wo man die Rückseite des Smartphones ersetzen kann und dann mit einem im Buchstil umklappbarer Klappe das Display schützen kann)Bei Stilgut ist es jetzt eben eine volle Hülle mit gut sitzendendem Clip-System... aber volle Punktzahl, denn das was sie beschreibt, ist sie auch und ihr Geld ist sie eindeutig wert.

Grundsätzlich ist die Hülle super, wunderschön, intelligent - nur leider sitzt das Handy (Lumia 950XL) nicht 100%ig, immer wieder muss man es nachdrücken, obwohl es zuletzt augenscheinlich eingerastet ist - hoffentlich ist das im Fall eines Sturzes immer noch ausreichend geschützt.Update Oktober 2016 - An den Rändern löst sich das Leder rundherum, sieht gar nicht schön aus. Die rechte untere Ecke ist ganz locker und hält das Handy nicht mehr fest.Es ist mir nie heruntergefallen und ist auch immer in der Innentasche im Sakko oder Jacke.Für den hohen Preis definitiv nicht OK.

Die Ausgangsüberlegung war eine gute und zweckmäßige Hülle für das Handy. Also aus der doch relativ großen Auswahl das richtige finden. Leder sollte es sein und praktisch dazu. Nachdem ich mich für dieses Case von StilGut entschieden hatte, wurde es sehnsüchtig erwartet. Auspacken war schon ein Erlebnis: stillvoll aus der Verpackung und dem Seidenpapier entnommen und Handy rein. Es sitzt hervorragend und die Verarbeitung und das Leder sin einfach super. Da ich schon vor ca. einem halben Jahr auch aus dem Hause StilGut ein Case gekauft habe, was die gleichen Qualitäten aufweist, kann ich diese Produkt nur empfehlen. Der Preis ist der Qualität und auch der Verarbeitung geschuldet und aus meiner Sicht durchaus angemessen. Schnelle Lieferung, ansprechende Verpackung und ausgezeichnete Qualität. So stelle ich mir die Realisierung meines Wunsches vor. Dies Produkt ist fast perfekt, wenn es noch die eine oder andere Farbe geben würde.

Absolut passgenau und von guter Qualität. Der Preis ist fair.Für ein edleres Design wie z.B. bei den Cases von Piel Frama hätte ich gerne mehr bezahlt, aber leider bietet Piel Frama für das 950 XL kein Case an.Dieses Case hier ist daher die gute zweitbeste Lösung.Ergänzung: Das Case ist immer noch zufriedenstellend. Mittlerweile gibt es jedoch auch ein Case von Piel Frama für das Lumina XL, was gegenüber dem StilGut Case um Galaxien besser ist.Bentley > Piel Frama und Trabbi > StilGut.
