Rekord box; the scratching sound is a bit more digital - you can read about this topic online and other reviews about it. nonetheless a very fun software to use. very adaptable. The RZ has a lot of board features. Most functions in rekord box are mirrored onto the controller.I paired the controller with a soft shell Carry case from GATOR.Do note that the unit has a flat surface underneath. 5 thin cushions on each corner and one in the middle. there are no feet to elevate it. See pictures.Personally, I find the following as disadvantages for my style of performance:- The shift button affects the entire controller. You cannot perform hot cues on one deck while you apply a secondary function on the other because that will DELETE the hot cue on the other deck while doing so.-The pitch faders. The the polar slides used for the pitch faders are a bit too loose for my taste. Quality controllers usually have their pitch faders slightly tighter for precision but not too tight. These ones are just as loose as the volume faders. However they are generously long which does still allow for precision.
