Bought for a 6 yrs old boy's birthday. He loves minecraft and specifically asked for this sword. I liked that it said foam. I don't like gifting weapons when the kid has a sibling 🤣. Be advised it is mostly plastic but the outer edge of the sword is foam. Not as friendly as I would have liked but the kid loved it still!

My son loves this. His six and he’s only complaint is that it is a little heavy and maybe just a little big for his hand. But he swings it around fairly often so it must not be that bad. It is built well at least but a little pricey for what it is. Then again all the Minecraft licensed stuff is.

I wish this was more foam, less plastic. My son gave his friend a nice big black eye with it while they were playing sword fight. Not great for a 5 year old that gets a little crazy and doesn’t pay attention to where he’s swinging. Sounds are cool though.

Super impressed with this sword! It is primarily made of plastic but the edges that you'd use it with are a super high quality foam. I do think it can and will cause some damage but I also think it will hold up for a long time!It also came packaged very well. It has a branded box by Mattel and was inside a fitted cardboard box that was plain but branded and it shipped in a larger box.

Got for 6.5 year old boy who loves Minecraft. The dark gray on the sword blade part is a foam material the rest is a hard plastic. It does make sword fighting noises but has a an on/off switch so it does not have to make the noises to be able to enjoy the sword.

Very well-made sword. It’s brand name (Mattel) and came in normal packaging. Despite the description saying it’s foam, it’s mostly a fairly dense plastic with a little bit of foam. It has stood up to heavy use so far (approx one month in). My 7 yr old son loves the sound effects and the size.

My 5yo loves this although it’s a little scary at times when he’s waving it round everywhere it’s foam round the outside but the main body is a very hard plastic so be warned if u have small children or animals around.

My son got this for his 7th birthday and loves it. It makes various sounds when 'swished' or the button is pressed. It feels very high quality and is very durable

Again brought for my son's birthday. He's really happy with it. It turned up fast. What more can I say?

Fantastic grandson was very happy with his belated birthday present. Very study well made was worth the money
