Spigen Tough Armor [Extreme Protection Tech] Designed for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G Case (2020) - Gunmetal

I have solely purchased Spiggen cases for about three years now. As I finally upgraded from an S8 to a Note 20, I figured I'd stick with the case brand that I know works.I've already dropped my Note a few times, but haven't had any damage as expected. The rubber sides and plastic back of the case haven't been scuffed so far either.The edges of the case are a little taller than the screen to help protect from face down drops. (I have yet to do that with my Note, but it certainly worked with multitude of times I dropped my S8 face down.) The back cut out for the camera is deep enough to provide ample protection and allows you to lay the phone down flat on its back.The kickstand, as always, is fantastic. Because it's off center, you can have two different viewing angles (one more shallow than the other) depending on which side you lay it on. It honestly feels a bit sturdier than the kickstand on my S8 case.The color is a bit off from Mystic Bronze but it's still a very pleasant shade.Overall, the case doesn't add too much bulk and looks very sleek. The texture of the plastic is somewhat grippy, which I like. They've also added a ribbed texture to the button over the power button so it's easy to distinguish from the volume keys.I do find the case harder to remove than from my S8. I think it's due to the lack of curved screen, so the case does "hug" over the Note's screen a touch. I never really felt like my S8 would come out of it's case if dropped, but with as snug as the Note 20 case is, I'd be truly shocked if that were to occur.

I have been using for about 3 months. After several hard drops I can relay that it is protective and sturdy. The color is fantastic and does not show smudges or fingerprints. The Matt finish is very nice and feels quality.It is also much thinner than I expected. It fits the phone quite well, not loose and the raised edges keep the screen from touching anything when upside down.Finally, it is easy to hold and not slick. The edges are rubber like and make gripping feel sure and confident. The buttons on the side also are nice having a different depth for the power button vs the volume buttons so I can feel it without having to look to ensure I am pressing the right button.Two downsides for me. The kickstand really only works when turned sideways. It is fairly flimsy and not as adjustable as I would like. On its side it works ok but I have many times where I need to have it in portrait mode and still heave to hold it or prop against something else.The other is lack of a screen cover. Since this screen has the built in fingerprint reader, you can't cover it without disabling that feature, or so I am told. I am required to lock my phone using biometrics for work therefore I cannot cover the screen. I am concerned about scratches but so far am OK. Again the raised edges of the case or doing a nice job there.

I had this same case for my old phone (different phone phone), and I liked that old one so much that I didn't give a second thought to ordering another one for my new phone. It protects the phone so well, that when I traded in my old phone it looked brand new, like it had just come out of the box. I also like that these cases come in colors that match the phone color almost exactly, so I don't have to be sad my pretty phone (mystic green this time) is going in a drab, neutral color case. I'll admit that I believe I'm not rough on my phones, but I have occasionally dropped my phones without them sustaining any damage in these cases. One thing to note is that these cases do not have a screen protector; on my old phone I had a tempered glass screen protector; on this new phone I went with a film type of screen protector. The tempered glass screen protector on the old phone did have some cracks in it, but when I removed that screen protector for the trade-in there were no blemishes on the phone screen itself, so I think the cracks on the screen protector were because the screen protector failed and not the case. Bottom line is I think these cases offer good protection for the phones. Also, I like that these cases do not add much extra bulk and thickness to the phone.

I've had this case for about 3 years. My toddler has thrown it many many times and still no damage. This case is so very though, I'm very impressed. I speak highly of this brand.

This case is really well built and fits and finish is excellent. It does not add too much bulk to the phone. In fact, while I was waiting to get the case delivered to me, using my phone without it was rather awkward. In other words, the Samsung Note 20 is very slim and sleek, but handling it without the case is a bit awkward (nothing against the phone, it's just like it feels like it will slip out of my hand and I'll drop it while using it...especially when I am calling and holding the phone by my ear). The case adds the right amount of heft and feels really comfortable both while using it to surf the web or use an app, as well as when on a phone call. It just handles well. I did not test out the kick stand much, but it only works when the phone is held sideways (in landscape orientation). Overall, I gave it a 5-star rating for built quality and finish

I did not want this case. I bought it in protest. I accidentally ordered another case for the wrong phone and had to return it. My husband insisted I order this one instead. It is so boring. Its black. Theres nothing fun about it. But it is a solid case! I was happy to shed some bulk from other cases. And it is raised in the front. You can't see from the other photos. But I can plop my phone screen down and the case keeps the screen from hitting. This is essential! I'm a phone killer. The reason I ordered this is because I smashed up my last phone. I put a popsocket on this without issues. It holds great. That's where I got my flare. I've even added some stickers. I Clorox wipe and alcohol wipe this thing daily and it still looks brand new. What can I say? I'm now a Spigen gal.

Just love Spigen for its high quality. Sturdiness is great and zero worries for any kind of fall.
