The media could not be loaded. Easy to install. Fit on my Mk6 GTI. For the price and what it is meant for it’ll do. The actual tow rod itself is nice and sturdy gives you around an inch out pop out, so won’t poke out too much. Biggest concern is that’s to hold the base plate on that rod. Literally just a thin washer and screw. Even then it moves a bit, little too much play for my liking. Nothing a little JB or some kind of epoxy can fix in all honesty. The screws it’s self that hold your plate onto the base a little too long for my liking, wish it would sit flush with the bolt. Either way for the price and whatever little modifications that will potentially have to be done later, I’d say it’s worth it. Will definitely update later for sure.UPDATE: After having it for roughly a month, and taking a 14 hour round trip upstate. Super happy and glad about the tow hook plate. Doesn’t move if it is to, very little to no movement. Haven’t had to tighten or modify anything at all. Super happy on it.

Looks good; the patterns for the screws could be better, and a way to keeo the device secure and stop it from spinning. I had to use plumber thread tape to keep it safe finally. All in all, I would repurchase it!

Recently moved from PA (only back plate required) to NJ and I don’t have holes in my front bumper to put the 2nd plate. This was super easy to install in the tow hole. Only complaint is that it sticks out pretty far, wish it was a little closer to the bumper. But is cheaper than some of the other ones and will do the trick till I get the plate mounted correctly

Doesn't even get past assembly, the hardware that's provided is too big to fit the mount threads.

If you want a cheap bracket, this one works for you, alls I could really say is it does work and it's made very cheaply

This will fit on an MK6 body. I have an MK6 Golf R and I was very skeptical about getting it, But I did anyway despite the reviews and the lack of instructions on how to install it. Once I got the package I installed everything correctly and drove thorough multiple places around Washington with it and still has yet to fall off or damage any part of my car. Great buy if you are looking for a cheap option for your front license plate

Bolt is about 1” too short won’t work as advertised on 2024 GTI’s

This is exactly what i needed. I now have my front license plate mounted and NO need to drill. Very good quality bracket.

Easy assembly to front bumper tow hook location. I like you can place where you want in the tow hook adapter to fit your personal taste of plate location.

The screw in was too big, if you do buy this product you will have to sand it down to fit it in. Don’t recommend though

The license plate mount worked perfectly for a couple of months but then started to bend on the mount and I needed to rig something up temporarily. Good product at first but started to rust and fall apart after only a couple months. Ads a cool look to car just not very practical especially for 60 bucks.

Tow hook threads on the car are left hand threaded. The mount sent to me was right hand thread. Waste of money.

The quality of this product was ok but the mounting threads were incorrect for my gti .. the threads for it to be mounted were manufactured for a common north American right turn thread and my gti being from Germany is a left turn thread ..
