I own a very old home with many large windows. When the curtains are open you can see through the front windows right through the house all the way to the back windows and the backyard. I got these sheers because I wanted privacy and security, but didn't want to hinder my view of the outdoors or block any light during the day. These sheers work perfectly for this purpose. You can see out the window almost as well as if there was nothing there at all, but no one can see in. (I didn't believe that at first and had to go outside to check!) All you can see from the outside is white (or whatever color you purchase) curtains. I hung them under regular, non-sheer curtains and they look great. Good quality, even hems and you can't beat the price!

I used these in my daughters rooms - one toddler and one nursery. We have odd sized windows & it was hard to find sheers that weren't too long - these were perfect! Some of the hems were a little off but here and there its hard to notice and I would say for the price I don't mind. I too just wanted some sheers to cover up some window blinds at night. During the day, under just a valance & with the blinds pulled up these provide the softness I was looking for in my girls room. Soft, filtered light without heaving draping. Speedy shipping & safely packaged. Just some quick ironing on low to get rid of the wrinkles & they were up in minutes! Recommended.

First off let me start off by saying these panels are just what I wanted to cover a bathroom window. I wanted something to let some light into the room and these do that. My only complaint is that whoever sewed these curtains did not do a very good job sewing them. One curtain hem is quite a bit shorter than the other and is sewn crooked. I wish quality control or whoever would check these things before packaging them up and sending them out.

It seems as though these curtains are pretty hit or miss, so initially my expectations weren't that high, but I really needed some curtains for my kitchen window and I didn't want to go the tiered curtain route. These curtains arrived promptly and were suitable in terms of length and hemming, and fit my kitchen window perfectly. The quality certainly isn't award winning, but for what you pay I don't think I could have found anything better to fit my needs. I've posted pictures of my curtains to give a sense of color (since a preview for burgundy wasn't available when I ordered) and how the length fits.

These do the job for what I wanted, light sheers for day time privacy to go in a bedroom with heavier drapes on each side. These I will describe the best as to what we use to call a 'dime store' item. The sides aren't hemmed but this don't show as hang up against the window frame. All in all- nice lightweight curtains for this price and do look nice but nothing fancy.

a little darker than the photo, although still nice. very cheaply sewn, loose threads. I purchased these as its very difficult to find 45" inch length. not bad for the price and they serve my purpose. i will be neatening up the sewing however....

I purchased two of these curtains. The fabric is fine and makes a nice sheer curtain, but the sewing is very poor. On one curtain the hem was very crooked. As a result I redid the hem and was able to use it. On the second curtain, both the top and bottom of the curtain were hemmed very crooked and I could not straigten it and have enough for the desired length. On the curtain I used the length was 43" long which worked out o.k., but not exactly what was advertised. I would not purchase any of these curtains again.

Unfortunately the Chinese who made this sheer either can't count, or don't give a .... hoot. The piece was too short both on width and length. I emailed Carol Wright Gifts about the problem and asked how to resolve it and they were wonderful. Very attentive, answered immediately, and gave me an excellent resolution to the matter. I won't buy any more of these sheers, but I will return to this company.
