Camera captures a lot of details, easy to use even if your not tech savvy
I added this dashcamera to my car to capture video in case something happens while I am driving. I think it also works when the vehicle is parked. I have only looked at a few videos, but the quality seems very good. I am able to see many details. It was easy to get started. Very happy with my purchase so far.

This is great for peace of mind while driving. Car people find other uses for this. Lol
Another one of those things I've wanted and find ended up getting one.I'm not alone on this, how many times have you been driving and seen something you wish you could show other people or had someone almost hit you and wish you had a video of it to show people how close it was? Seen a awesome car you will never seen again or a deer jumped in front of you. Now you have video proof of all of this. All those times I wished I had video proof while driving has finally happened. I've had people try to race me. Ive had people slam their brakes on in front of me, had people cut me off and on and on. Not to mention this camera had night vision which really comes in handy if something should jump out in front of you.I also heard that this helps lower your payment on your insurance but I'd check with your insurance 1st.I plan on using this while I'm in my Jeep 4wheeling and while I'm in my mustang and people try to race me.This camera has really good picture quality. If you are a Car person you will find other uses for this camera then what they list lol. In all honesty they are alot of nut jobs out driving. It really does pay to have a camera filming. It's a nice peace of mind.

One of, if not best camera on market
I work at a 12v automotive shop an we've gone through a bunch of different brands of cameras and in my opinion mio is hands down the best. The footage is crystal clear, the phone app works amazing, the software for the pc is even better. It has a ton of features you may or may not use (lane departure, forward collision alerts, traffic moving alerts.. ie if you're stopped and not paying attention it will alert you it the car in front of you moves)You can also add a rear camera to this unit, plus it also has parking detection if you decide to order the hardwire kit ( it detects shock and motion.. so if someone messes with your car, or backs into it while parked it will record the footage)A lot of the complaints I've read here are related to user error, plain and simple. If you don't know how to use a product, don't knock the product. It's not hard to figure out.For example one user says you can't zoom into license plates. Of course you can. Just open the video in any media player on Android. Why would you be using MiO app to view video? It's for downloading and yes it give you the option but that's just for convenience and quick viewing. The used complained that it's "cumbersome" and hard to find videos.... It literally couldnt be any easier. You have 3 tabs. One for emergency video (ie accidents) 2, regular recording(99% of video will be here) and 3. For parking. (Any parking incidents will be here) How someone finds that difficult to understand is beyond me. Recordings are also labeled by time and date, and it's built into the file name. The user says the camera needs to be on the driver side of the car "so it can be interacted with" which is also not true. Why would it need to be on the driver side? You're not supposed to interact with the camera. It's supposed to be setup and forgotten about. There's literally no need to ever touch the camera again after initial setup. You would use the app for downloading and viewing videosThis user also complains about the power adapter, which tells me that the camera isn't hardwired, which is exactly why this person has trouble finding the parking footage, and it's because it's not there. 12v cigarette lighters lose power when the car is turned off. It's not going to record parking footage when the camera is off. This isn't rocket science. Read the manual??He complains about the alert of the driving moving in front of him triggering after he's started moving. That's because it works by detecting motion, if the car in front moves, and you move with it, it's going to trigger. All in all this is someone who doesnt have the awareness to figure out the most basic if things
