Works amazing and a great upgrade!

The product description is a bit misleading. More accurately, it should state "Not _designed_ for the Lee Precision Classic Turret Press".I recently bought the Lee Precision Classic Turret Press Kit, several dies, a couple of turrets and accessories, and began loading some experimental loads of assorted calibers. The knobby handle began to annoy me straight away, as it was not that ergonomic and was more than a little uncomfortable to use (I am developing Trigger Finger in most of the fingers in both hands).Examining Lee Precision's catalog, I noticed that one of their presses had a much nicer handle. I popped on to Amazon and read reviews, and a couple seemed to indicate that the Roller Handle Update Kit would work with the Lee Precision Classic Turret Press. I took the risk and ordered the Handle Update.Two days later, it shows up at my door and I hie myself to the garage to install it. The first thing I noticed is that the handle shaft of the Roller Handle Upgrade is a slightly smaller diameter than the handle shaft installed on the Turret Press. Undaunted, I removed the original straight handle shaft and proceeded to tighten the bolt on the Roller Handle.Let me be 100% unequivocal about this; the Lee Precision Roller Handle Update Kit _WILL_ and _DOES_ work great with the Lee Classic Turret Press. The bolt that runs through the armature DOES succeed in tightening around the slightly smaller diameter of the Roller Handle. There are a couple of small gaps where the armature tightens against the handle shaft, but they absolutely do not affect the performance, structural integrity, or safety of the handle or the press. It does not wiggle, wobble, twist, turn or move one nanometer. If you were picky, I suppose you could find or manufacture a _very_ thin metal bushing (no, I did not bother to measure the dimensions) to completely take up the space, but it really, really is not necessary.The Roller Handle itself is significantly more comfortable than the original knobby handle. The leverage I can exert is more pronounced, although if you are putting that many ergs into reloading, you are doing something wrong.As an aside, I did not bother fiddling with the other linkage parts; they are effectively paperweights. I replaced _only_ the shaft and handle.In conclusion, the LEE PRECISION Roller Handle Update Kit absolutely, positively works with the LEE PRECISION Classic Turret Press.

The handle design will help the reloading experience especially with my old hands. Easy to install and seems to be well built. I was expecting a foam roller on the handle as the description and reviews mention but received a wooden one. Contacted the seller about it to see what the deal was and if they had foam rollers but only was told that I could return it if I was dissatisfied. They did reply back promptly but didn't answer my question. I will keep the wooden one but it did leave me a little frustrated as I already knew the return policy and they could not answer the only question I asked them.

This handle is awesome. It's so much more comfortable to operate than the hard wooden ball on the old one. I used it on a Lee Classic Breach lock press. I just took the supplied linkage off and used my existing hardware and it worked just fine, since the handle shaft is the same diameter as the old one. It should work well for any Lee press, and probably some others.

I used to love my roller handle. My first one lasted for about two years (5000+ rounds). Unfortunately the toggle broke and I had to replace the entire unit.Used my second roller handle for about 1 month (about 300 308 rounds). The toggle broke again during a run. Otherwise the grip and adjustable arm are great!!! They need to make the toggle from a stronger alloy handle the pressure needed to resize rifle brass.

The toggle on my old Lee Value Turret Press broke after years of use. I think it was cast aluminium. I purchased this to see if the press could be salvaged. It was an easy swap for the broken arm and now back in business!

I've had my Lee single stage press for 10+ years and the pot metal handle finally let go. Bought this baby and it's like having a whole new press. Better grip, better leverage and made of real steel. I'm sure it will last for ever.

I WAS A LITTLE SCEPTIAL AT FIRST AFTER INSTALLING IT AND SETTING UP MY TURRET PRESS FOR RELOADING I SET TO RELOAD MY 44MAG CTGS. UPON SIZING AND DECAPING THE FIRST STAGE THERE WAS LESS STRENTH TO OPERATE THE PRESS THE DESIGN OF THE NEW HANDLE AND LINKAGE GRATLEY INCREASED THE EASE OF RELOADING AND MY HAND AND ARM WERENT AS TIRED GREAT PRODUCT BUY ONE THE PRICE HERE IS GREAT OTHER PLACES WANT AS MUCHAS 40 TO 50 DOLLARS
