Maverick GL-9019 LED Grill Light

The magnet in the bottom liked the cast iron lid of my dad's grill more than it liked the plastic casing it was in. It promptly shot out when it came near, rather like a bullet exploding from a plastic LED gun and with just as much noise due to the resonating *clang* that reverberated through the grill hood for about a minute after impact. We still haven't been able to get it off. Maybe we aren't trying hard enough, but it just lives there now, on the side of the hood, long separated from the light. But that's magnets for you. Completely two-faced.I give it one star because the light still works technically though now we just use it as a flashlight since it won't attach to anything. The other star is because the magnet is obviously effective. It lost three stars for its petty act of betrayal.

I've tried several grill lights and this one works great. It has two lights, small one on the short end and larger on the face. I gave 4 stars because the small light is basically worthless when attached to grill. You have to push theon button twice to get larger light on...somewhat annoying. But overall, a great magnetic hold in place light.

Hubby left it out in the rain and I was sure it was done for. The battery compartment was full of water. Hubby took the batteries out, dried it with a few paper towels, put the batteries back in and it still works!! We don't leave it outside anymore though.

Really happy with the light. We BBQ a lot late at night and have nothing to attach a light to. This magnet is strong so can sit next to the grill, not on it , and provide the light we need. Would recommend product.

Decently strong magnet. Bends where ever you need it to. Ok amount of light. Enough to see your food. Is not even a little bit water resistant, which is disappointing in a product that is meant for use outdoors

Five stars for the design idea, because I liked the magnet and the bendable arm. No stars for the cheap light itself. When I put batteries in, the light would not turn off no matter how many times I pressed the button, which got stuck about every third time I pressed it. The plastic cover over the light caved in some when I touched it too. Maybe I got a faulty light, but I'm not sure I want to order the same one when I return it.

Gave to my adult son who loves to barbecue. He is afraid it will melt. I've never used it, so am hesitant to give it lower then a 4 star rating.

PERFECT for illuminating my heat press workspace. I love that I can adjust the light as needed and that it's easy to take off and use elsewhere. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone else using a heat press!
