I have now bought three sets. One chrome and two nickel with white buttons. The issue with installing vintage tuners on a Squier is the hole spacing. Wilkinson, Fender and Kluson all leave a gap on a Squier. These Musiclilly Pro's do not. They fit perfect. I have tried Kluson Plus, and Wilkinson, and was disappointed.These hold up well, install easily and stay in tune. Older Squiers don't need the insert adapters, most new ones do.

I like the vintage split post for tuning and ease of string replacement. They hold tune pretty good.

I bought these for an inexpensive partscaster strat I built recently. My objective was to keep the build on the cheap side, so I didn't want to spend too much on any single part, including the tuners. I took a chance and ordered these from Musiclilly and they met all my expectations - decent quality and finish, and they stay in tune fairly well all at a very good price. I definitely recommend them.

They are good quality tuners. They fit my 1960s Teisco guitar perfectly. I didn't have to drill any holes for screws. I didn't use the ferals that were provided. I used brass tubing instead because I didn't want to expand the holes with the ones in the kit.

I got these as they were supposed to be an upgrade to the keys that I had on my guitar,a 1992 squire strat. I did not find out until after drilling new mounting holes into the neck that the ferrels were way too big unless you want to drill out the hole bigger which usually will end up with a cracked head stock. So now I have spare parts

I bought these for a MIM Strat I love but always pictured vintage style tuners on it. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the screws that come with the tuners and very easy to strip. You really have to concentrated when screwing them in or else they strip. You do have to drill small pilot holes but it’s is no big deal at all. All other holes are covered when complete. These tuners are fantastic. I put the guitar through it’s paces for 2 days and I found the tuners hold tune perfectly. I did have to buy the 10mm conversion bushings for it. They pop right in. Entire job took me about 20-25 minutes. Easy and self explanatory. I love looking at the headstock now. To me, the vintage tuners are so fitting for fenders and they are my favorite to restring. If your looking for vintage tuners I can definately recommend these. Hope this helps.
