Really love it!!
I love this machine!! I can do twice as much in each load and it drys quickly too! I really love it! The only thing I wish it had was a digital display. There's no way to know how much longer it has left. But I think the low water usage and large capacity makes up for that.

Nothing but problems
Disappointing quality - sensors, doors, very short lifespan.

Buy the extended warranty!
I purchased this laundry center at Lowes in March 2018. The warranty will be the smart part of this purchase. For a space saver the washer and dryer are of a good size. The dryer never gave me any trouble. After about 8 months I happened to notice the spin-dry cycle running over 20 minutes long. This is my 3rd washer and I don't remember my freestanding electro-mechanical washers spin-drying much longer than about 10 minutes. That was the first time I called for a tech. and they said it checked out ok.Before the 1st year was out the machine started erratically beeping and clicking while it was idle for hours to days. I have to keep it unplugged, apparently, it's drawing energy while not in use. After 1st year the extended warranty kicks in.Latest problems: I load the washer and the machine won't activate until after 10 minutes of pushing control knob. A tech said it checks ok.Since then, other problems include erratic beeping/stopping in the middle of a wash load, and insufficient spin-dry cycles that leave the clothes ringing wet, with water still in the tub.Technicians have come out on numerous occasions and have been replacing parts. They also say detergent can affect sensors. I am using recommended detergents and amounts. Warranty repairs so far total $282.00. I paid about $1200.00 for it at Lowe's. (combo sale and gift card)All my freestanding top-loading electro-mechanical washers gave me more than 10 years of trouble-free service. Warranty runs out in 2023, guess I'll be replacing it then.

Very difficult to reach to bottom of drum to fish out clean clothes to transfer to dryer
This drum is so deep any size person has trouble using it without stretching shoulders or if you are tall you can't keep from being hit by dryer portion. Owned two Kenmore full capacity combo units for 12 yrs, awesome convenience, easy to use. Entirely too complicated and sensitive technology when using settings. It definitely thinks it is smarter than you.Exceptionally dissatisfied. Make sure before buying a washer dryer combo that you actually reenact starting a load, that you are the right height to reach deep enough to retrieve laundry etc. I am a 5'8" woman and have never had this problem before. We'll use it for the length of it's life but I have learned a lesson.

No way to get clothes clean
The water level is so low, it doesn't cover clothes. There is no agitator, so detergent and softener come out as a blob on a piece of clothing. In order to make it work at all, I have to put it on rinse/spin cycle (to get a higher level of water), add detergent and let it finish. Then I have to come back, do that cycle again to wash additional time. Then I have to run it again on that cycle with fabric softener. Even if it goes through it's regular wash cycle, it takes one hour and 20 minutes to finish. Today, someone is coming to get it for free - good riddance.
