So far so good. I put these on my egg chair a while back because birds kept pooping all over it. I also zip tied bird spikes to the top. No issues. These are very flimsy and you must remove a clear backing from the front and back of them. I snapped 2 wings doing this and my nails removed some of the mirror on some. Just be careful

Good for the money as it does keep the birds off of my porch. Just know that I’ve had to rescue some butterflies after a windy day and storm so might want to take it done if you know before hand. But would by again.

Don't know yet how well they work for deterring birds. But they are lightweight and shiny plastic as advertised. They make - when assembled, 8 stringers of 2 butterflies each, or you can make longer stringers but less of them. The 2 butterfly set is about 8-10 inches long by guesstimate. Easy assembly except if you are arthritic or have hand injuries. They are basically tiny key chains you use to link objects together so holding the little chains is a little tough but I understand why they are not pre assembled. I couldn't wait for delivery bc the mud martins were building faster than I could hose the mess off my white brick. So- I tried putting menthol gel shaving cream where they had been building and it seems to have stopped them for now. It's unfortunately also a sticky mess, but a lot cleaner when washed away and I don't have to camp on the front porch with a water hose and risk even more damage to my house.-- ......... Update next season- left these up - are in a protected area- and our mud martins returned and made a mess of things. So not as effective as I'd hoped, but I am not seeing as many. Maybe next year the birds will forget and go elsewhere to nest.

Great for my garden

I got these because reviews said it works to keep birds away, the birds where I live in Ohio like to bang into them and just go about their business. Theses did nothing at all to help, good thing they were cheap. I would not recommend

Had birds on my porch building nests in our porch. After installing the birds are gone!

These are cute decorations but they do nothing to keep any birds away.

Not happy at all. The edges have several spots on over half the disc that are clear where the mirror film doesn’t cover the Plastic design. I should have read more closely but I thought these were made of stainless steel. The size is as advertised. Scoring won’t allow half points so 3 stars are it. What is covered completely will catch light but the light fractures on the parts that are damaged. I expected better quality. I don’t mind the bead chain between the parts bc it is probably more secure but I must say it does cheapen the look. Will see if customer service will replace defective parts. I also do like the hook at the very top more than standard S hook.
